  • Jimmy Cefalo was a color commentator for The NFL on NBC in the late '80s, paired with the late Charlie Jones. Cefalo now hosts a radio talk show in Florida.

  • I have Good News. The Premiere of Trump Card is Finally on Youtube.

  • This was a good show, they shouddl've extended this another year.

  • I used to watch this in the afternoon when I was in high school. There was one episode I remember where a Naval officer was all the way down in third place, and then he had a streak towards the end and won everything. By the way, did Debi look as good in person?

  • Good fashion lesson here. Everybody is wearing a suit that wouldn't look out of place today. Except you. You're clearly wearing a 1980s/early 1990s suit. It shows the importance of wearing classical suits as opposed to the latest fashion. You were cutting-edge 20 years ago, but now it's laughable.

David's suit is perhaps a bit dated and was never fashionable but it's exactly the sort of suit that educators and principals wear. It's an academic-type suit. So he's right on the money.

  • nO TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP HAS THE GRAND PRIZE WON IN A BONUS GAME, except $100,000 Pyramid but that was the name of the game.

  • Great work. You have a knack for this, for sure.

Will you be able to appear on other game shows? I understand there's supposed to be a limit to the number of shows you appear on. Would that limit affect you?

  • @SuperCartiel Every show has different rules. In fact, I happen to have an audition on Monday. And, no. NOBODY gets details until I tape and have an air date...

    Peace.

  • What did the announcer say before he introduced Jimmy, here's a star at what?

  • Jimmy Cefalo is now the Radio Play by Play Announcer for the Miami Dolphins.

  • Comment removed

  • wHERE IS jIMMY TODAY?

  • Trump Card is like Jeopardy.

  • I have Donald Trump's Board Game, and i drew some Trump Card Stuff to put in the Game Box.

  • "Trump Card" isn't bad, but the whole Finale thing basically made the whole run pointless.

Jimmy: "Congratulations, you've won our $100,000 Tournament!"

    *applause*

Contestant: "Thank you...wait, where's my check?"

Jimmy: "Well, you have to earn it by playing our Bonus Round-"

Contestant: "Wait a minute -- I just lasted throughout this season and beat all my competitors. I think that earned me $100,000."

Jimmy: "Yes you *did* beat your opponents, but we're douchebags."

    So.....yeah.

  • I used to watch Trump Card when i was Little, and it's good to see an Episode of Trump Card on Youtube. I do hope that they put Trump Card on GSN one day.

  • debi is so damn hot

  • I Love You, Jimmy Cefalo

  • I use to watch this when I was in the 4th Grade and also, Jimmy's Fellow Miami Dolphin Larry Csonka became the Co-Host of American Gladiators during the 1990-1991 Season.

  • the show actually doubled as a game for the audience. You paid $30 to get a seat and your game card. I believe anyone who fill the whole card got $5000

  • No, actually, WJBK was a CBS station but now, they're a Fox owned Fox station.

  • No.

  • I guess this why GSN don't want this show cause of the $100,000 format.

  • Actually, that might make GSN want to run it, knowing they don't actually have to give it away. It *could* be won. It's the same way with Russian Roulette.

  • This was a bust since the $100K was never won.

  • That is true, the winner of the tournament had to WIN the $100,000 by winning the bonus round one more time.

  • thy should try a remake of this came show?

  • Yeah, I can't remember whether or not this is true, but I could've sworn that I heard Jimmy Cefalo on an NBC college football broadcast on ESPN Classic a while back, I think it might have been one of the Fiesta Bowls but i'm not sure.

  • Nice!, I've never seen an episode of this show before.

  • Did anyone ever win the $100,000 bonus round, I read it was never claimed.

  • Nope. And I hated that format that you have to earn it in order to win it.

  • Who was the announcer on this show?

  • Chuck Reilly

  • I Love You, Jimmy Cefalo

  • i have a question, why did the audience play along? (that just does not make sense to me at all.)

  • There were door prizes for the studio audience.

  • 1 problem, they do that with any game show. or did audience members have to turn in a completed card?

  • I believe they would have to prove their card was a winner. On top of that, offering a game to the audience was probably the only way they could convince anyone to get off the gambling floor for a while to watch a non musical or dancing act at the casino.

  • I remember Trump Card; it was seen in the mornings in Chicago.

  • It has to be the channel 2 in (Chicago) WBBM right after Price Is Right. I saw the listing from prevue guide on youtube. In Detroit was also seen on its own CBS channel 2 (WJBK) before Price Is Right believe it or not they're both CBS stations.

  • I always love "Trump Card"! I remembered this game show back when I was 9 or 10 years old.

  • thank you for the post, I've been looking for an ep. of this for years!

  • You're welcome!

  • what would happen if they had run out of questions during the 1st 2 rounds?

  • How do you think Jimmy did as a game show host?

  • I loved Jimmy, sweet guy but, I think that is was one of the reasons that the show didn't make it. Unfortunately because it was a great show.

  • @LLoubell I thought Jimmy did pretty good, but if they got a big name host like Peter Tomarken, Jim Perry, Chuck Woolery, Wink Martindale, etc., it probably would've lasted longer. Furthermore, it was an awesome show, and definitely should be attempted to be revamped at say Trump Plaza or Marina, that would be awesome, bring TC back to AC.

  • I booked the contestants for this show. That was a fun show to work on with an a+ staff!!

  • I remember being treated very well by your staff, and I also remember turning a $500 profit at Mr. Trump's blackjack tables after the taping! :)

  • Oh it's so nice for you to reply. When were you on the show? I was the head contestant coordinater Laura! ;)

  • 1990, for sure. I want to say April, maybe? Or October? I don't remember...

  • Have you been on any other game shows since being on Trump Card?

  • I hit "Wheel" up for $26,640 in 1994. That's posted (see my videos). I had also done "Pyramid" before "TC" in 1980 (unposted). I won $3,400 then.

  • Host Jimmy Cefalo is a Penn Stater. He played college ball under legendary Joe Paterno.

  • Nope. Never met The Donald. Pity, too. He once said that he didn't tolerate failure in anyone. Not even himself. Well, he never tried again. You can't really call "The Apprentice" a game show, so this is the one thing he HAS failed at. If I do ever meet him, I'll pitch him an idea that just may let him succeed in the game show arena...

  • Who knows, we may become rivals. I'm interested in game shows myself.

  • So, you didn't get to meet Donald. OK. Did you at least see him while you were at Trump Castle?

  • this show was a very underrated show. I got a copy of the show. I am glad I got to see a new episode. But the contestant intros nd all were chopped off

  • This show's format kind of reminds me of Bingo a bit, what with the contestants trying to fill out a card.
