This game is insanely fucking bad. I go back to it every few months to see how long I can stomach it and rarely last for more than 15 minutes. It's like Battlefield 2's autistic little brother. The gunplay is so atrociously weak, you'd swear you were firing weapons in one of the earliest builds of a game. The graphics - especially FOV - are muddy and worse than Battlefield 2's from 2005. There is no prone or commander. Just buy Battlefield 2. Fuck this game.

There working on fixing the graphics bug that happens when you run it at the "high" setting. Change the setting to medium and set the detail to the highest numbers that are indicated with an *. Also check the forum there is a thread detailing a fix with your graphics card. Medium setting aren't horrible to look at and you can iron sight!

A couple of mates in my clan run bc2 (lower quality of course) with a 8800gtx. They are trying to improve the old/fun maps... If we wanted the old maps on the old engine, why dont we just play bf2?

I have tested the beta of this game and it is not impressive at all. EA can't replicate the success on the PC unlike the easy-to-profit console games. They are going to try and fail, This game will have users playing but it cannot match Combat Arms or even A.V.A. Steam is making profits in the PC Gaming realm and so is Nexon which is making millions off their Free-to-Play online games.

@TheZeeya No I play it. And in this clip you can see how uneffective it is to hop, it doesnt help you to avoid bullets, it slows you down and you lose any chance of hitting the target, basicly it's a definite death.

Just saying about the whole hardcore thing he mentioned, I would say that a "Hardcore Player" would still be, in the sense of being a hardcore battlefield player, would mean that you are still playing something such as BF2, but he mentioned BF:BC2 as that hardcore game, could this mean that BF3 is going to be more like BF:BC2 and not BF2? :( Lets hope not, this is the sort of game I want imo
