Fantastic job Very well played indeed. If you ever saw the Eddie Duchin Story, Carmen Cavarello did that tune and carried it just a bit further. Bravo though!!......and nice piano
I spent about an hour a day for years on piano and also later on bass. Currently I end up playing anywhere from 3 to 20 hours a week, performances included.
do you make funny faces when you play bass or any of your instruments? for some reason i always end up making weird faces. like when i'm using my auto-wah I purse my lips along with the sweep of the pedal and i know that my tongue is always moving when i play. It seems to act like a balance kind of thing cuz i tried biting my tongue while playing once and i started playing really crappy.
Well, whatever works will work! I think that it comes from some right brain/left brain balance...and for me it depends on coordination and what I want to come across as...I'm mellow sometimes, and other times I act like a nut job; Just depends on the setting, and my choice of what I want to come across as. It's showbiz, yo!
I've been playing piano since I was 3. I took lessons from then till I was about 16, starting on classical and moving on to jazz. I don't have perfect pitch, but I did a ton of ear training to develop relative pitch. The piano here is a Baldwin.

It would be a lot more enjoyable to listen to if it weren't all one dynamic. A little rise and fall within the phrases would give it a lot more life, and take the harshness out.

almost perfect! Just that the fast notes weren't 100% in time, which is quite literally impossible to perfect anyway

Anyone know where to learn this on the internet ?
bonzil 3 years ago
I think the only place to learn this is at the piano - and for several thousand hours! (assuming you've also got a ton of talent too)
Excellent Deha - You're a very talented guy. Thanks for sharing.

awesome, hearing this style I can't help but laugh and smile, LOL! what are the names of composers that wrote this style?
theWinterline 3 years ago
The composer of this piece was Zez Confrey. Similar guys I've listened to are Fats Waller, James P. Johnson and Art Tatum. Glad you like it!

would you mind answering some questions about your piano playing?
1.) how long have you been playing and
2.) did you take lessons if so how long
3.) do you have a perfect pitch to a note or all notes?
4.) are you classically trained?
5.) what kind of piano is that
those are just some questions i was wondering i hope it does not bother you. -rannos
