The question I would have is about a very basic anthropological principle, culture changes constantly. What is the role of outsiders in this process of a "natural" change of the amazonian cultures? In my experience in the Colombian Amazon (Tarapaca, Pedrera, Miriti) I saw two oposite sites. One, ignoring in some way local culture and other, building an "anthrpologial zoo". Is there any middle way?
