Just what I was looking for (for years) - all other programs are slaves to this king of a program! one thing though, I wish there was a way to increase the font size or that the chord font size would scale with the window as you enlarge it, cause it's a bit difficult to be far from the screen with the guitar, trying to see the chords, other than that, Wow!.
I am in my final year of studying Computer Science with Music technology and I find this stuff really interesting..
However, I tried to use CLAM for my final year project, which is "Pitch Detection specific for Electric Guitars" but I had a huge problem trying to set up the library (i'm a newb with linux commands and the set up guides are quite extensive, even the windows way).
You guys need to make it easier to set up and run on Visual Studio! Please! :)
@RoXMarkiemark best places to ask for help are here (mailing list and external forum): (i can't post urls) go to clam web page and then to the mailinglists tab...
@tincoandringa Sorry to be rude, but it's not "first year stuff". It depends on the university you study in, and the career you're in. For instance, Computer Science is very theoretical, but not as much programming as in Computer Engineering. I study Computer Engineering in Spain, and I had to learn to use Linux commands by myself (the guys at unviersity "assumed " that we knew how to use linux right from the start).

Incredible work, just incredible. Glad to see you make it into the Debian repository. If I had enough free time I would love to port this to .NET...
