and BTW if you tell them to launch and attack they just keep going in circles around your carrier anyway.

thats only if you choose launch, if you choose launch & attack they will attack the target which you chose

That's what the game says, but I tried and they just circled round anyway, even though they had the red arrow going to the enemy. Try it.
