john is leaving the red hots so that he can focus more on making music rather than touring so much. Josh klinghoffer is a beautiful musician who is just as talented as john. i think josh will do a great job filling in for john. when jf took over as guitarist after slovak died, he already knew how to play all of slovaks guitar parts and did a great job playing them live. so will josh. he already knows how to play all of jfs guitar parts. he will modify theyre sound and take them to a new level.

you know what? i think that josh shouldn't joi piano to RHCP style. it's not gonna be the same band, like with John. i would like to keep the original red hot style as it was with Frusciante. that was their best times and i hope there's not gonna change many things. Josh already knows what to do, i think and it' gonna be the same kind of music but with other guitarist...

I HATE that John is no longer with RHCP, but DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE JOSH. He reminds me of an 1989-90ish John Frusciante. He has the mind, heart, and talent to be GREAT. John would NOT leave the band in the wrong hands.
