  • That is great show of love relationship Glenda makes it so so real.

  • Lovely soundtrack at 2.08 and beyond.

Difficult to believe that this is nearly 40 years ago.

  • very nice! do you have a video obout movie Lost and Found 1979 with director melvin frank and george segal and glenda jackson. Glenda and George with a cast leg and crutches. Do you have? Thank You!

  • I'm sorry I don't, but I'd love to see it! Glenda is my favorite actress.

  • This was a hugh upset. A 100-to-1 shot at the Kentucky Derby. At the time, I remember thinking this movie was a tv, situation comedy show. I can't imagine how it would hold up, now. This was hardly a stretch for Jackson's talent. Also, this was a low year for roles for women. Of those nominated, Streisand should have won. But the best performance of this year was the not nominated Julie Christie for the now classic film, "Don't Look Now". That's the way the Oscar crumbles.

  • Glenda's comic timing was perfection, not to mention her wonderful presence in the film.

    My ranking:

    01. Glenda

    02. Marsha

    03. Ellen

    04. Joanne

    05. Barbara

  • I love Glenda Jackson and I love this movie. I've seen it so many times and I never get tired of it.

  • Can you upload Elizabeth Taylor in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, please?

  • She deserved the Oscar.

  • She won for Best Actress not Supporting.

  • Yeah, what's your point?

  • @TheSuppActress - Excuse the hell out of me. Your page is about the Supporting Actresses. Sorry I touched a nerve.

  • I upload variety of things, not just supporting performances.

  • I was very unimpressed by Glenda Jackson in this movie. I think that Ellen Burstyn should have won for her phenominal preformance in The Exorcist.

  • Hated that movie and her. I'm with Babs.

  • @Stephanie3189 Yeah I think the academy voted for title rather than performance.

  • What exactly do you mean? Glenda wasn't exactly the front-runner that year.

  • @TheSuppActress Well it wasn't exactly a memorable year for actresses that year. Ellen should have won but the controversial nature of The Exorcist worked against her. It did only walk away with writing and sound oscars after all, considering it's one of the finest american films of the 20th century. The Sting won best fucking picture!?!? Glenda did something new - a comedy - and it worked. Nice film, nice performance - nice title!

  • I think The Exorcist was just too much for the Academy...as was alot of the movies that year (Last Tango In Paris, Cries and Whispers)

It's funny, all the winners were, let's say, friendly: The Sting, Jack Lemmon, Glenda, Tatum O'Neal, and John Houseman.

  • It's very hard to fully appriciate this performance but I think she was brilliant and deserving.

  • What a force!

  • Bland.
