DHONI is a film that will surely manage to kindle the emotion in you. I generally dont believe in the concept of actors turning into directors , but Prakash Raj as a director truly surpassed the actor in him by a large manifold. It is a wonderful attempt of showing the bitter reality of the emotional trauma which both parents and students undergo due to the present education system. Tamizh Cinema is heading in the right direction. Thumps up ! Must watch film :)

Prakash Raj is brilliant as an actor. He has excelled in every scene. Aakash is fine within his limitations. Radhika Apte is neat. Murali Sharma’s role is interesting . Gollapudi, Tanikella Bharani and Brahmanandam did their bit. Ilayaraja’s background score is an asset. Songs are in sync with the mood of the film. Production values are up to the mark. Prakash Raj’s direction is good in parts.

All the parents will really appreciate the movie and think that the mentality of Indian Parents have to change but its only for others, not for their own children. This movie might influence some parents, but they will soon forget it and be normal.Thats the sad truth. All these years... apart from personnel life... I have liked Prakash raj for his dedication and his interest in making quality films... like naam, mozhi, payanam etc.. for the first time he is directing in Tamil and Telugu. I wish him good luck first.. and coming the soul of the film, the music.. is conducted by the Maestro Ilayaraja. We all know how much he involves if he likes the story of the film... this time he himself told he is verymuch attracted by the plot... hence I expect a nice film.
