the people in my band though, even for concerts, we play music like the amparito roca, we play music levels like 5 and 6, and im the onlly baritone player we have and i practice every day, which is why i will become one of the great band directors of this world :)

we have small bands down here where i live, and its not the fact that there not good, but there so small you can hear every mistake, if they practiced a LOT more they could be a great 1a band, my band is barley a 3a band but we play the hardest music, and or shows are more intriget than any others in our state really, we have 76 people in my band, and we are one of the best in the state, unlike my old school there a 1a and they play good music, but the people cant play

The problem here isn't the kids or funding. It's leadership or lack of. Those kids are giving everything they've got. If there is NO band director and it's a student run organization, than my hat goes off to those kids, but if they have an adult leader who is 'degreed' musician as their band director than that person should be beaten to death. That's unacceptable. If my band sounded like that with my qualifications, I'd be fired.

Bad posture! Horns angels what are you putting on a show for the ants? May i consider after school practice and car washes or anything to build up funds for new instruments. Ohhh also more memorizing music of a marching performance....Using liars seems way unprofessional. All i can say that Color guard was the only thing good out there, and with a drum major like that with such a loud voice and seems to be in charge should take his part seriously and to make this band perform atleast decent.

Because their are rarely any 1A bands that participate they will let all 1A bands that declare for the championship play. I guarantee that they were the worst band there because I was there. If you want to see some great Mississippi bands type in Desoto Central Marching Band, Southaven Marching Band or Petal Marching Band.

The entire sound of the band sounds like a field of dying cows.

They sound as if their band director made them practice for 10 hours. They're not together at all. The fact the entire drill takes up about 2 pages means that there's no excuse for the fact not all of them memorized the music. 10 laps around the field.

At least the zombie band had enthusiasm.

I would like to meat the college-educated band director who thought this was acceptable.
