I'm 23 and when I listen to this song I think of both my parents. But it especially makes me want to thank my dad for all he's done for me. Being their when I broke my arm racing the school bus on my bike, letting me take all the lawns he mowed, borrow his motorcycle and drive too fast, but he was all understanding, he knew I was hard headed. He knew I was just like both my parents.

This sounds too country! He needs to make it hip hop if this song is going to sell. Too many acoustic instruments as there needs to more rock guitars. It is not being aired by any country radio stations as it sounds way too country. I heard it a couple of times, but it needs to sound like a rock/pop song than real traditional country and it will never each number one on the country charts as it sounds way too country.
You cant explain it with words. A fathers love grows beyond what any word possible. ok my dad is in Afghanistan and when my mom heard this song she dedicated it to me shes says im the walking imahe of my dad and i miss him he is back in 2 weeks and when he gets back we are going to have so much fun i havent seen him in almost 2 years hes my hero and nothing will change that! thanks brad my new favorite song!!

Please everyone, request this wonderful song on your local radio stations and local country night club/dance hall DJ's! We need to get traditional country back into Nashville and leave out pop rock! Call me old fashion, but if my wife was pregnant, I want to be surprised to find out if it is a boy or girl than use a scanner. I would be patience until that day to be born.

The kind of song that you never find in hip hop or rap. Thats what makes it country. Its not too country. It doesnt need more guitars. And plenty of radio stations play it. This sounds too country! He needs to make it hip hop if this song is going to sell. Too many acoustic instruments as there needs to more rock guitars. It is not being aired by any country radio stations as it sounds way too country. I heard it a couple of times, but it needs to sound like a rock/pop song than real traditional country and it will never each number one on the country charts as it sounds way too country.

You cant explain it with words. A fathers love grows beyond what any word possible. My son is now 4 years of age and every day that passes I see how much he actually and in all reality is just like me. God bless and congrats to all the new and exisiting fathers out there. i just found out today that im havin a boy so this song is #1 in my playlist...im an 18 year old father waitin for the day that i get to see my baby boy. hes got everything he needs his father is serving his country n his mother is everything i could ask for. its sad to say that i wont be there for the birth cuz ill be in basic training then after that ill be on my way to afghanistan a month after i just hope he turns out like me

As he said every mom has a dance with her son but a dad should know that he is just as special in his son's life . so I am thankful each day that my son is so like his daddy ... This is the most perfect song for my hubby and our 2 boys. I know must people say that, but it is. I cry happy tears everyy time I hear it. Being a woman, and never having a dad, I will never really understand that bond. My husband and is father were best friends for 24 years to we sadly lost my father-in-law to cancer in 98'. But now, this song fits my man and his 2 sons i gave him to carry the love on.
