Well, he aint using the deluxe series, cos theres no abalone, and no floyd rose. Theres white binding around the headstock, neck and body, it says LTD, so its either the LTD Mh-400, or the discontinued LTD-301.

It's the MH-400nt there is no abalone on the gutiar's body or headstock. And if you pay really really close attention from 1:29 to 1:31 you can see the MH-400 inlay on the 12th fret. and that's not a low end model dude the only diff between this and the 1000 models is the tuners and the abalone. But they're made at the same factory by the same people.

Lol, the only reason why Adam D produces Parkway's albums, is because when parkway wanted to record the "killing with a smile" album, they sent adam D a message asking him on myspace, and adam D thought they were just another little generic band, but then he found out they were from australia, and so the only reason why he agreed to produce their album was because he wanted to spend a few months with a bunch of australians because he loved their accent. fact :)

Nah mate, they use Mesa Boogie for recordings. They use Maxon OD808, Sonic Maximizer, Noice Suppressor and some few other things, alongside the Mesa Boogie/Peavey/Krank stacks they use. I saw one of a few pictures on a web-topic about their equipment once, where you could clearly see what they use. Of course they switch between amplifiers, but I think the one they use most of the time and for recordings, is a Mesa Boogie Trible.

the tone in my Pinch Harms video looks AND SOUNDS like a 5150II but its not... video tonality and recording bit rate can be HUGELY decieving... yeah theirs a Cobra and a 5150 sat in D's studio doesnt mean they recorded with em.

JSX have a Particular tubular tone because of the nature of how the valves contour the impeadance against the outputted Ohmage, thus giving you that Scooped but claritised sound, a common 'video' misconception.

getting to the point, doesnt matter if your amp sounds like this, they recorded (unfortunatly) with a JSX, and the 1 and final answer to your initial statement is; No, the new tone sucks, their is no air, colouration, depth or dynamics to the newer tone. it sucks.
