This song is almost spiritual!! When Richard Ashcroft says; " Well I've never prayed, but tonight I'm on my knees yeah, I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me yeah, I let the melody shout and literally, I fee free yeah, and the air is clean and there's nobody singing to me now!" I get goosebumps!!! This song is beautiful to this day, and no matter who covers it, The Verve's version is perfection! Thank you for this!
