It's funny how this movie manages to be more spine-chilling and nightmarish than the american one, even when nothing's happening. I was more scared in a regular everyday moment than the most intense parts of the remake. I STILL like the remake though, it's good - but the original japanese is almost like a bizarre, bloody nightmare. I really wish they'd have left some of the more subtle scares in the scenes they copied, like the TV-part before Kayako appears under the blanket; so messed up.

I kinda did go to her site and i played a game but seriusly i died when i got into the game. you have to save a boy that's in the creepy grudge house, but you have to open the locked door by hiting it. -and btw a fire is going on in the house- Then i didn't know how to break the door and i just clicked on the screen, and then if you dont hit the right spot of the door you're dead bicouse the fire burns you. You play as a man the whole time, you can't change the gender. So that's the start, i die

No horror movie can actually scare me, I'm just really hard to scare.... But this movie(And the entire grudge series) is the only movie that freaks the shit out of me. I love how the grudge can be anywhere, at anytime, and will never leave you once you see it. Now that's some freaky shit lol. It doesn't just run straight at you and kill you, but it stalks you, follows you etc while making creepy sounds and stuff.

This movie is a masterpiece. Thumbs up if you agree.

Wow! Nothing much scares me anymore but this film sure did. In a word: Creepy. I like how the film is so unforgiving. Anyone even nearly connected to the house gets the chop. I also like the alliance of villians, the mother, child and even the family cat gets in on the act to help raise the body count. Lets face it, if you go into that house or even near it you are gonna end up in a body bag. I just wish I knew the address so that I could send a pizza delivery boy there just for fun.
