Tell that to Donald Rumsfeld who went to Iraq in 1984 to give him weapons! Saddam attacked Iran in 1979 with US support. Saddam invaded Kuwait in 1990 after US gave a green signal that the US will not get involved. 0.5 million Iraqi kids died because of lack of medicines because of sanctions imposed by Bill Clinton administration and Albright said that the cost was worth it. 1 million died of bombing and half the Iraqis today are either dead, disabled or displaced.
