Taking a photo zooming in close on an object (say a pen) from about 3 feet away (not point blank). On all of the auto settings and manually I just get a 'big' blur. It is really frustrating because I need to take some nice close ups of items I am selling and with a tripod a foot away from what I am taking pictures of I cannot focus in close (say the writing on a pen) using the zoom. I can take a picture point blank and I can take pictures at a distance. Am I missing a trick or something please?
i thought you are having hx100v but while seeing your comment you are going to buy this. ... i bought this camera by the past august if you have any doughts reple me on facebook or amrithamalan1998@gmail.com
@doodlegirl19 this is the exact question to which evn i want a perfect answer..
i was doing a research on sx30is for last 5 months.. bliv me i saw almost all vdos regardin sx30is on youtube till now and chkd all facebook n flickr n picasa pages to check wat sx30is can deliver..
nw frm last 3 days since i found this option of hx100v am leaning more toward it
only drawback i found that the image quality of canon is 20% better than hx100v.. but thats visible on if u zoom ur image for poster
@doodlegirl19 also a difference of 5x between them is nt important as 30x is more than enough for any job.
now hx100v hav some amazing advantage like in Video and low light as it uses a cmos sensor. also u can produce DSLR like effect in which background is out of focus very easily n better than canon sx30is. also u can manually focus on subject using the ring on leans by hand.. a dslr feeling :P
n hx100v cheaper by $40 which is 2000 rupees in india. i dont need a hotshoe so evn dis is nt prob
Did you saw BATMAN ???
