This music sounds so sad to me. Maybe that is how Barrios felt. I know the story behind the music. that he wrote it for a young girl who was his student and saw her transforming into a young woman... hence the title Julia Florida (flowering)... I kind of think there is a sadness in that which is lost... the child. anyway the song stirs my emotions. beautiful Isaac. I saw you play here in Raleigh NC. You are a wonderful player.
