I am also considering the lipo switch for the TSD tactical re-brand of the MP5K.

This video is enough proof. The only problem to watch on JG/Galaxy mp5 or mp5k models is the trigger module becoming stuck in the firing position. That has happened to three of them locally. We play small scale in Florida.

I was thinking of going to another country to play airsoft but I could not place the logistics of transporting airsoft guns there. I would love to play in the Philippines because it is close

yep, thats one of the problem of the galaxy, but can be remedied by lubing the railings on the contact point, and making sure that the spring has enough tension to pull it. other than that, the guns is fully functional, i have also upgraded an mp5k pdw with stock p90 barrel, suppressor and JG red motor, + bremenhaus lipoly, result is higher rate of fire + 420 FPS,

yes, no need to replace anything, just be sure that the internals are well lubricated and proper lubricant is applied (grease for gears, silicon oil/grease for cylinder)

you may need better wiring, reshimming, lubing and eventually new piston/gears. a high speed motor will actually cause more wear on your gun then the stock one.

INNER barrel length has a lot to do with airsoft, first of all, it improves groupings, the longer the barrel, the better the groupings on a certain range, next thing is it improves FPS, an example is, an mp5k barrel length with sp130 has a hard time reaching 430fps, while an m14, or dragunov with a longer barrel will hit 450 even on pdi190, some could even reach 500 just on sp130,

MP5K's are so stupidly short that the BB doesn't have enough time to accelerate fully. That gun has it's own problems.

INNER barrel length does not improve accuracy. Longer guns are more stable (less recoil), thus you can aim better. The BORE of the inner barrel scientifically increases the accuracy. (tightbore)

Barrel length does improve FPS, but your only gonna see maybe a 10FPS gain, woohoo! This is mainly due to the larger cylinder's in sniper rifles not because the barrel is longer.

Longer barrels do not magically make the BB float farther. People just see real firearms and think the same physics transfer over to airsoft cause the guns look the same

Also, the further the sight posts are from each other the more precise they are. Another reason why long rifles are more accurate than pistols, NOT because they have longer barrels.

The real stuff to pay attention to is the BORE

width of your gun, your hopup, and your spring (more power can equal more accuracy).

regarding your sight post theory, i beg to disagree, take an normal mp5, fire away and you'll see its groupings, same mp5, put a long barrel in, and again, fire it, no sight post difference BUT it improves the groupings

i respect your thoughts but it has been proven through experiments most airsofters has done :)

recoil is almost irrelevant in airsoft, especially on aegs (unless you got the ones that has recoil)

a steady platform using a vise clamp to securely held an mp5k fire away at a target 20 meters away, your mp5k will have bigger groupings does,poor accuracy, clamp in an m14, fire away and you'll see the difference in groupings, its much tighter, stating that longer barrel = better /groupings/accuracy

its strong and accurate AT QB, but if your planning to use it on field games, better yet get a longer barreled gun, the short barrel has bad groupings on long ranges

I have a really annoying problem. I'm getting an MP5K PDW and I want the outter barrel of the regular MP5K, not that weird 2-inch thing on the PDW. Does anyone know if the inner barrel is the short enough so that I can just take it off?

its an M14 sir that i tuned to shoot at 480 fps,

i would suggest this (the mp5k) as a side arm due to its compact size and full auto capability,

im also using a ghillie suit that i made for jungle games, and still find it efficient to carry my mp5k with me, most of my kills are at close range and those kills came from my mp5k,
