The second movie is so drastically different, but both were pretty awsome in the end, the second one remininded me more of gurren lagaan and flcl, being by the same director and all. Theres even a few scenes that were almost spot on to those in tenga Toppa and FLCL
Gunbuster Die Buster and Gurren LAgann, gainax wud have to make and endless amount of crap shows to even be considered a bad company after making those. Amazing works.
I need to find Diebuster, because Gunbuster is tied with Evangelion as my favorite series of all time ... this looks fun. I hope it's as moving as Gunbuster
