@HeysusX theres not really a point of return, everyones different, and it depends on how long you keep them in. like, i knew someone who went to 12mm, but then took them out a week later and it shrunk down to a 10, i also knew someone who has had 4g plugs for about 6 years and he said they wont go down even if he takes them out for like weeks.

My tattoo's artist took out his plugs at 1" about two years ago and they're still not closed, he can still fit a 1/2" plugs through them. And no, he didn't get his ears punched... so yeah, they CAN close back. But it's not always possible. And I agree with you x1000000 about the stretching is a life choice, not a 8g baby plug cop-out.
