one is white, six is black, and the rest change color depending if your looking from the top/bottom. and that is how it is done.

i think the dice is the key notice how he never show you the top nor the bottom side of the dice when he is changing them from colourless to colour? my guess is that the holes in the dice is already coloured but in a (half of a semi colon) and the bottom side of the dice when he showed initially is actually already coloured black and take the angle of the camera in consideration it looks as though it is reflecting one side of the dice

hm good job but how is it done it looks like shadows at first as the dice has holes in it so in the mirror will pick up the shadow because of the angle but then you swap the dice with another one?
