Above and beyond the $3,125 these kids collected 3 weeks ago, last week, they held a garage sale at the school. With parent support they raised another $4,800 dollars. Shows you what a group of elementary school kids can do!

Gabrielle's Elementary School has announced today that they have collected over $3,125 in just a few short weeks. A massive yard sale is being coordinated to include all parents and the community. These little heroes are coming up with new fund raising ideas every day, and they are keeping us grownups on our toes! They will also soon be interviewed by Fox35/Orlando. Way to go kids!!!

I've received 4 phone calls today from proud parents of these students! From our view, it's a very emotional thing that they have done, and continue to do. I was there last Thursday when the dollar amount raised was announced. The response from these little kids was louder than any football game I've been to!

I love to see students show empathy towards each other. There isn't a test in the world that can measure the depth of empathy! Big bravo to this little school helping this little lady.
