@BaseballMann4 im mad because i got the apex instead of the flatline? yea that makes sense... you got me there buddy... your a fucking retard. ask any pro paintballer and they will tell you that the apex is better. and i have the apex 2 btw. flatlines are very picky with paint. if you use cheap paint they chop alot. apex on the other hand, dont. apex is also cheaper and easier to take apart and maintain. the apex can also curve around bunkers, and do much more. so get your facts straight idiot
@danny96211 HAHA how about you learn YOUR facts before you tell others to learn theirs HAHA wow. APEX's chop just as much or more. all they are is a little flap that the paintball hits. The flatline works better.
yea i play woods ball i have the a-5 iam looking to get new barrel i play woods ball i need distance and accuracy from 30 yards away ..price range from 80-130 any suggestions
@rolyroman72 Flatline all the way. You could go with the more expensive barrels with inserts, but if you're playing woodsball, the possibility for breakage is huge. The flatline is durable and with a little practice will serve you very well. I've played actively for about 4 years now, and i love my flatline. You will find though, that the other team doesn't like you very much ;)
Just regular paint. Some paint works better than other just like any gun. I don't remember the exact brant of paint I used, it was soo long ago.. Just experiment.
for some reason i can't seem to lower my fps below 290. however i don't presume that to be the problem with my range/accuracy. ive heard that medium grade paint was good enough to get the great range the flatline provides but i haven't been seeing it. do i need to buy better paint? or is there something else i can do?
try diff bore size paint. i use rps flash. yea its cheap and a little hard but i can shoot 20bps with out squishy paddles and not break, it gives me wicked range 2
How is the Qloader? any problems or complaints about it? im thinking about getting a kit for my A-5 cause im left handed and the hopper is always in my way, do paintball's stop in the feed tube when the pod is empty or what?
yea, there is a little pin that keeps the balls from rolling out of the tube. You have to cut the tube to fit, making sure you dont have a ball half out of the tube when you try to take it out
dont let it ruin the gun for you tho depending on your style of play it hardly bothers me most of the time. i just got the X7 Hopper and it helped a ton!
Yeah. This was done about 2 years ago. I don't know what the Qloader is like now, but back then you had to break off the post that the cyclone feeder sat on. Essentially you couldnt go back to the cyclone once you put the Qloader on. They may have changed it since then tho..
i herd from few people flatline is not any more accurate it just can make ball fly farther. because the curve in the barrel i have one because it came with my a5 but never used it because my a5 also came with m16 apex barel.
Your completely right, i have a flatline and it is no more accurate than any other barrel. The reason you should use your flatline is the massive range it gives your marker, and a massive flat trajectory. I was able to hit my friend that was 75 meters away (225 feet!!!).
nice, i went 2 play wit my a5 wit flatline for the first time n i couldnt hit ppl who were rly close couse it was so inacurate is that how all flatlines r or what.idk:/
if you aim with the ironsights, its not as accurate, but you dont really need ironsights in paintball, but the flatline does make you shots go longer distance
that is pretty true, with the flatline you can nail someone from 75 meters fairly easily. its one of the best markers for the so called sniper or if you have the e trig, insane suppression so your frontmen can advance quickly.
lol...that is it... casue there is no holes it makes it loud.. but still i get scared just hearing it... lol... just let me stess this once more.. "clean ur flatline and it will be the best barrel u ever got"...lol... ive gotten more face shot with it...lol
I agree ive had so many ppl put down the flatline because they dont know what they're talking about. I was told to clean it after every game cuz apparently even a tiny piece of dirt can throw it off. And another thing its way better to hold the gun straight up instead of an angle the barrel is a bit picky but performs great
to answer a few ppl questions... flatline... yea it a great barrel... i acuraccy il give it a 9/10... looks 10/10.... and fuk... its fucken intimidating... like loud compared to other barrels... it is worth getting trust me.. ive ben paintballin.. a long time... jsut keep it clean and it will reap
i HATE the flatline. It chops on my a5 no matter what paint or velocity. Its ridiculous to shoot with and clean. Get apex instead (i am, we'll see whether that's any better)
Actually anything over 12" is excessive. Rule of thumb according to Palmer's if you are using co2, use a longer barrel in cold weather and a shorter barrel in warm weather to account for expansion speed.
It depends on what you want to do with it. If you want accuracy at short range get the 20" barrel. If you want to hit someone 75 meters away get a flatline.
I would go with flatline. The distance is extreme.I one shot many people. e-trigger is useless, semi-auto and 3-shot is about the fastest you can shoot.Stick to semi it = zero barrel breaks, flatline is tough to clean. If you want to upgrade get a tornado mod, or the x-7 cyclone for your a-5 it is better than stock. Use tough paint like marbalizers, your enemies might not like you for it, but it beats cleaning your barrel or feed/hopper out. Keep velocity around 230fps
are marbalizers the best paint if you use the flatline? i heard they are cause the bore is smaller. i tried voodoo paint and it worked well and it was only 34 bucks a case.
why is mine so much louder than that?? sum1 please respond cuz i heard that tippmanns are supposed to b qet.. but mine is hella loud, well like a typical gun u kno?
HPA is (H)igh (P)ressure (A)ir. The problem with C02 is that it's not regulated. It expands in the gun straight out of the bottle. It is still expanding as its leaving the barrel. This is what makes it so much louder than regulated high pressure air. Also with C02 youre gunna get a massive fluctuation in pressure depending on the ambient temperature difference between the outside air and the c02 in your bottle.
so HPA IS MUCH BETTER, quieter, more accurate, etc.. right?? i should go with air.. is it cheaper?? just a question.. also the A-5 is suited to use air right??
the air bottles are a little more expensive because you need a regulator on them, but not much. I'd recommend getting a "micro line remote" for your air bottle also so you dont have to screw your heavy air bottle directly onto your gun. This will give you more agility on the field.
Hpa is a more consistant air and doesnt freeze the gun, but the gun is going to be as loud as it was with co2 and all tippmanns can use hpa, if you want quieter and more efficiante you are going to need a low pressure kit, which are like 100 bucks.
ya i see that now that iv done my resaerch, but i also see that the 16" is a more effetient barrel because of the accuracy and it's also less choosy about the paintballs. so thats gunna be my choice with my next $800 purchace.

Dont get the 2 piece barrel just the 1 piece barrel.

its barrel actually slopes upwards inside spinning the paintball and causing it to go alot further more acuratly, i know cos i have one
cypresshillboi 4 years ago

well if i wer u i would have just used one from opsgear (u dont need som super expensive barrel). why do u have a loader cabable of unloading 100balls in 1 second on a semi auto gun o_O

(1) the Qloader is not able to unload 100 balls when attached to any gun in 1 second because no gun is able to shoot 100 times in 1 second.
