I wouldn't say CS is "beautiful," but it's pretty nice. I'd have to go with some north Houston suburbs & more East Texas as beautiful...and you, judging by your profile picture.

I graduated from Texas Tech and then went on to dental school. I am now a practicing dentist, and the education I obtained at Tech was the foundation. Anyone ever take Dini's intro biology class? Anyway, loved my time there. Tech makes Lubbock, too. Wouldn't be anything without the college. Go Tech!

I'm sorry you have such a disproportionately negative view of Texas Tech, but the batteries incident occured at another Big 12 school and was improperly reported in a newspaper article. Also, let me point out that not only have Aggies killed a horse used by Texas Tech's mascot in a prank, but that Bevo's name derives from Aggies branding it. If you only rush 4 guys against someone like Colt McCoy, he just going to scramble for more yards and you won't be able to stop him. Also, I know that you only had a few penalties against Nebraska but your still the most penalized team in the Big 12 and always been in the top 10 in the NCAA for being penalized. Why do I say this because when you play UT in 2 weeks once you destroy A&M, you have no room for ever on defense or making mistakes against them. Just stating the facts.

We all know Tech has a great offense and is always ranked in the top 5 in passing offense but its always your defense that lets you down. You should have beaten Nebraska by 21 points but you didn't. My brother went to Tech and he agrees that you can beat the good teams but struggle and barely win against the mediocre teams every year. On defense you don't blitz and if you play like that against Texas on how you did against Nebraska, you will lose pure and simple.

I think you will see in the video a student who is from Vietnam and a student who is from Mexico, so that should give an indication of the diversity embraced by Texas Tech -- all cultures and backgrounds. We welcomed our largest and most diverse freshman class in history this fall. This included a four percent increase in black freshmen and a 17 percent increase in Hispanic freshmen.

came from newton aycliffe England 2 texas tech 2 years ago only stayed for a exchange year, but still i feel more pride in being a red raider than my home university, truely a once in a lifetime experience that i will never forget for the rest of my days, made friends that i am still in contact with after 2 years, still a big football fan, i stay up till 2 in the morning here to listen to the games online and dont mind at all, thankyou texas tech for giving me one of the happest years in my life

Actually, I went to A&M for a year (Fall 06 - Spring 07) and transfered to Tech Fall 07. I paid about $500 more in tuition at Tech than I did at A&M... no idea why...
