@lamentate07, yeah Cotton Weary did die at the beginning of Scream 3.maybe they're just saying that he'll appear from a flashback or from a video tape like Randy did in Scream 3.it'll be either way if he does appear in Scream 4 though.

Maybe the killer could be Dewey. He might not actually have a severed nerve. Also, in Scream 3 Gale mentioned that Dewey went back to Woodsboro, that's abit strange don't you think? No-one else will go back but he does, If it was me I wouldn't be going back there to have all the memories flowing back and seeing where your own sister died. He's the one that Sidney feels safe around, what if it back fires?

thats what I think, I dont think I know one "main girl" in a horror movie that surivived through 4 of them. Jamie Lee was in Halloween 1, 2, h20, and died in resurrection, I dont think anyones made it. if she lives It'll be a HELL of a miracle, I mean how many times can she dodge the swipe of a knife? hell, it was a miricle just surviving 1, but all 4?!?!?!?
