Most of the idiots who commented didn't understand that the device is "protecting the tank". First video kills an RPG that is coming from the bottom of the picture. It responds and causes a concussion that explodes the RPG before it hits any barriers. The second video it is killing the RPG coming from the tower in the foreground. The missle defense system launches from inside the trailer and intercepts the RPG again. Also this time it causes no damage to the tank or trailer.

LASERs are not better. They require too much power and have never been tested to beyond TRL2. APS systems of the type in the video have been field tested for years and have achieved TRL6

Not for nothing but this Quick Kill aps looks like it could be safer in a urban environment than Trophy. I mean its an explosion than takes out the Rpg and not a oversized shotgun shell that can do some serious damage to innocent bystanders.
