I meant that the Ancient Egyptians knew it's value 1,000's of years ago. If I had the money I would buy gold-lol :( Back in 2008 even I knew it was getting bad when debt collectors were suing the middle class( upper ruling class) and calling them evil and why don't you pay your bills bum etc. I am not saying you are completely wrong, but for me he is more honest about what is happening right now and is telling the truth. Maybe you are right he does have his own agenda and he is in it for himself. But I am poor and I was also a Business/Accounting student in 2008 and I could have told you to buy gold because it has intrinsic value and the stock market was/ is crashing. And gold is always safe it goes back to the Ancient Egyptians and if you can't use it to barter you can use it as a shield or I think for electrical components. Gold has it's own value even the Ancient Egyptians knew this.

you seem to be under the impression that he is extremely wealthy,he makes a decent living because his firm is very accurate,if they weren't ,he'd be broke. he gets on TV becuase his predictions based on data were accurate NOT because he can just call up FOX and MSNBC and say "hey i'm coming on the show today". please rethink your criticism of him till you research his firm further

it is a forecast based on market data and human feedback. the problem you have is you take celente's 5 min personal opinions on fox business channel and try to hold him to short sound bites.try reading the trends jornal and actually reading the trends in context numbskull
