I think I can safely say that Ian Hunter is THE unsung hero in the history of rock music. He should be known by everyone yet that makes him even more of a treasure to those of us who love good music. From his days with Mott to his solo work he has always stayed true to his vision and never sold out while making great music.
ian, effin', hunter! wow, thanks for uploading this ms. honaloochie boogie yeah. haven't heard this one in about a hundred yrs. stupendous lyrics and emotionality in this tune. it ain't easy being a man. never is. but hang in there, young bucks...you'll grow and learn
still got the vinyl of this somewhere, this and Marionette are my fav Hunter/Ronson/Hoople tracks. i actually painted the inner sleeve on my bedroom wall.. to bad i couldnt take the wall with me when left home.
I think I'll have It aint easy when you fall on my gravestone when i go. And have Shades Off read out.
