  • this is the man who couldnt take timmy mallet pinchin his arm... just imagine him as mayor

  • Oh 1,2,3.... in the police force you can put your mind at ease,in the police force you can bend and touch your knees, in the police force....etc

  • I so wanted Brian to become the next mayor of London. Wish I could've voted but I wasn't living in London at the time. It's just such a shame the way politics is and how Lib Dems don't seem to ever win. I just don't understand. Maybe I'm naive. Thanks for uploading this though.

  • He seems so convincing, why didn't he win?

  • ye i think im voting this guy, ken is a liar and cheat and boris is an idiot

  • ANYONE BUT KEN

  • You shouldn't be looking on qualities for a best friend. If he's funny etc etc. You should be looking at how and if he can do the job right.

  • Not very good on telly was he?

    Takes himself too seriously.

Obviously fears Boris as he tried to shout him down every chance he got.

  • i just think he felt he was makin mockary of the debate, i feel that Brian Paddick will do the best job and he seem like he is hungry for the job.

  • \\\\abbozzo////

  • Good speach and good luck for the job of Mayor of London.

  • I went to the Evening Standard debate last night in Cadogan Hall SW1. Brian Paddick is certainly a genuine guy but he needs to 'lighten up' a bit. Some self mockery as well done by Livingstone and Johnson is very appealing - taking yourself too seriously makes the audience distant from you. Good luck.

  • Serious about London. No laughing matter eh?

    ;)

Go Paddick! I hope people see the sense to invest in your expertise by casting their vote for you on 1st May.

  • My big problem with this talk is the structure which reveals a wider Lib Dem problem. Brian talked about experience and his understanding of London. He then jumped to his role as Major and what he would do to make this city even greater. However, he missed a crucial section: communication. How will be people know his experience and ideas if he can't communicate them to the wider public.

I'm all for Brian but this is an area he must consider more closely.

  • go Brian!

  • love Brian.

  • VOTE BORIS

  • man he is boring! He's better than Ken though (who isn't)

  • He's great but he needs to get his bite on!

Come on Brian, Londoners want to see what you're made of, they want to be convinced this time, they want fireworks!

  • Ok, big fan of Brian, he's got the support of me and my mates...

But he's REALLY going to need to work on the public speaking if he's going to land a hit on Boris and Ken. (And all thinking Londoners know he needs to)
