I have 3 horses I rescued from one bad thing or another in the Half Moon Bay area. I have friends that have small horse rescue operations here. My email is jmljml1@msn.com. Maybe we could somehow, someway do more. I completely share your philosophy and it breaks my heart to see the plight of the "modern boarded horse". At least in the "old days, despite the problems, horses had real value to people and families. Not just another entertainment source. We all rode in on the back of a horse.
