The bots are out of control, even if they do ban them, more of the accounts can and will be made easily to replace them. Jagex has mentioned that part about the accounts just being made again in a quote that I found on the RS forums. It's obvious they have lost the battle
Jagex & their mods go out of the way to ban bots, but when I got banned because they thought I botted, they wouldn't listen to my appeals & they lie about reading them.

I put approval of comments on for idiots that feel the need to post botting sites, I was considering doing it on all my anti-bot videos as those are the most likely ones to get hit by them.
@SmoKeeNReZo I was 9 when I started playing, 65% or more of my friends are in highschool or college now, the only reason you say its for 9 year olds is because someone either said it to you, or you just plain lost this game, even though there is no technical way to lose.

You should ask if they're there before reporting. I don't like to speak when I'm training as it throws me off concentration. I wouldn't like it if I was training and all of a sudden I'm banned?
Obviously certain people you can tell if they're botting. But I think it would be a lot better if you spoke to them first.

@TheSapsed the accounts aren't banned, only locked and investigated for botting. So it would be an annoyance, but if you don't bot, it wouldn't be a problem.
for non p mods its really tough to report bots, only one report allowed a minute with no right click report option. maybe accounts that are 2 years + old with no black marks/past botting history should be allowed additional reporting powers without becoming a full fledged player moderator.
Currently it can take someone hours to report every bot in ONE area of ONE world.
I don't know if you read all of your comments but I just wanted to let you know that 7 seconds into this video I lost my faith in jagex's bot detection system. Just the fact that someone who has been botting non-stop for atleast 6 months was not banned during a bot-bust. This is a good thing your trying to do but in very wrong ways. You could be banning people who do not understand English and don't know what the crown means. They could be in a friends or clan chat and not be paying attention to public. I am sure 95 percent of the people you ban are botters but what about this other 5 percent that is legit. you can find a lot of bot users on youtube, just look at some of these suggested videos. Maybe someone should get a jmod to rollback people who admit to botting in runescape on sites like this.
This is not everything Jagex is doing, this is a side project they do to catch extra bots obviously.
I'm sure they have systems in place to detect bots, if they didn't the game would actually be insanely packed with bots and wouldn't be running anymore.

How do you make sure they are bots?? Because they could have public off and be in clan chat, or could be on forums aswell. Do you wait a certain time limit? And do j mod speech appear even if public is off?
@understand0001111 Mods speech appears whether your public is on OR off, so there's no way of getting out to not responding. Also, i'm sure they waited for there responses, and it could easily be proved that they weren't alt tabbed because they would attack dragons continuously.

I admire what you're doing to aid the fight against bots, but isn't this method a little inadequate? Sure, this helps against bots that PvM, but what about the other 10k bots that are making it almost impossible to train non-combative skills?
erm.. what happens when you ban a player who's in Clan Chat? how are they to know that your 'BotBusters'? They won't be able to see your Crowns and therefore will be banned for no reason, adn before you say you'l know by the way they act.. quite alot of botters act like clumbsy players now..

Keep this up! A bunch of bot sites recently removed all their free frost dragon killing bots in an attempt to keep the price of bones from crashing. Combined with the continued efforts like this, we may actually get the frost dragon cave back!

you can find a lot of bot users on youtube, just look at some of these suggested videos. Maybe someone should get a jmod to rollback people who admit to botting in runescape on sites like this.

This is not everything Jagex is doing, this is a side project they do to catch extra bots obviously.
I'm sure they have systems in place to detect bots, if they didn't the game would actually be insanely packed with bots and wouldn't be running anymore.

How do you make sure they are bots?? Because they could have public off and be in clan chat, or could be on forums aswell. Do you wait a certain time limit? And do j mod speech appear even if public is off?

@understand0001111 Mods speech appears whether your public is on OR off, so there's no way of getting out to not responding. Also, i'm sure they waited for there responses, and it could easily be proved that they weren't alt tabbed because they would attack dragons continuously.

I admire what you're doing to aid the fight against bots, but isn't this method a little inadequate? Sure, this helps against bots that PvM, but what about the other 10k bots that are making it almost impossible to train non-combative skills?

erm.. what happens when you ban a player who's in Clan Chat? how are they to know that your 'BotBusters'? They won't be able to see your Crowns and therefore will be banned for no reason, adn before you say you'l know by the way they act.. quite alot of botters act like clumbsy players now..
