  • Wow, looked like a brilliant day, although not wind up those fan powered ones were very interesting. Those old clockworkers really don't like points! Was there a long distance competition?

  • Yes, there was a long-distance competition. The winner -- a much modified mechanism designed for speed and distance -- ran somewhere around 200 feet.
