The book Beastly is very sweet, and I enjoyed it very much. I think the movie will be good, they have a great story. I like Vanessa, I know she is not like the book says, but, so? It doesnt has to be exactly as its written. And Alex as Kyle, wow! that guy is gorgeous.

NO NO NO NO NO!!! The girl has freaking RED HAIR!!! He talks about her red hair so much. This makes no sense. Hudgens is a HORRIBLE actress. This is a wonderful book! Why would thy ruin it like this! These are the worst actors in the history of the world. :(

I'm interested to see how Vanessa plays her character Lindy. Sure, Lindy wasn't absolutely beautiful in the book but she also wasn't ugly. I think people should give Vanessa a chance, she might surprise us. Besides, she did a fantastic job as Sa5m in Bandslam. Why shouldn't she be able to pull of Beastly???

I love the Beast form in the movie, it seems so much better than the books description. Darker and more eerie somehow! Can't wait to watch this film now.

In the book, adrian was portrayed as a beast, furry coat, claws and paws, fangs. this depiction just looks like somebody was in a very bad fire accident. its gonna be interesting to see how they do the scene where he runs through the city looking for Lindy before she kisses him... IDK but I dont think it would be nice for people to be afraid of him. and hudgens is definitely too pretty to play linda

I think they didn't want to make him with fur because it has failed in the past. Robert Downey Jr. with Nicole Kidman, pretty freaky. Even though it wasn't Beauty and the beast.

Then, if you look at the other Beauty and the beast movies, it gets pretty freaky as well. The one that did it best was 'Panna a Netvor.' Even though he was a bird.
