great vid.

just one suggestion. instead of taking out the black after when you were making the energy ball to make the 2nd colour (black) transparent and the ball green like it was.

then you couldn't have to remove it after you rendered it.

Have you tried using After Effects? Its better for special effects, Sony Vegas isn't meant for this stuff.

i always learn something from your vids... good job, another way i do this is by putting the layer with you (in this case you shooting the "ball") as screen. i do this with compositing mode. but now i am going to use your way cuz it looks better
