Based on the 0:19 comment, what is logical is that the cue ball will return to 1/2 diamond.

According to your system, cue ball goes up (or down) 1/2 a diamond for each short rail length it covers.

What really happens, is that with each cushion the cue ball (especially when it hits the short rail) aquires some english, even though we did not put any english in the beggining.

So, its a good system for going to the corner (cause on the1st rail there's no english) but after that you can't be sure.
