I personally don't think Elizabeth Lambert deserved such severe punishment, considering that the first player had elbowed her first, and the second player had pulled on her shorts. In other words, they were the ones who started it, not Lambert.

They provoked her and were asking for it, and they got what was coming to them. Lambert only stood her ground and gave them a taste of their own medicine. So she really shouldn't have been to blame.

I totally disagree with lambert's actions but after watching the video a lot of times I think I saw things that many people didn't see. First of all, she only hits #21 and #7 from BYU.

Look carefully, just before she hits #7's back , #7 gives her an elbow hit.

You need to ask yourself if her behavior would be ok if it was your sister, cousin, niece or granddaughter being on the other end of this womans actions.
