Heathen's stuff is more Progressive Thrash than anything else, especially Victims of Deception.

of course its thrash, but a lot of thrash bands in the 80's where in the line of old school power metal and viceversa

This has been kicking my ass for over a year now. Listen to it almost daily. Best song from Heathen by far. Hope the new album, out Oct. 13 by the way, kicks serious ass. The few songs released so far sound promising. Keeping it hard still!! yeah!!. Thrash renaissance is now. Heathen, Artillery, and new bands. "Time has come, incompetent you ruled!"

I remember when this came out, i was at school and i nearly wore the vinyl out. One of the best thrash albums ever. The guitar work is out of the world. It's been re-issued now on CD - spread the word - Bay Area Rules!!! Wooooooooo!!!!
