  • I loved this show as a kid - to the point of taping it if I was going to be out. However I remember thinking even back then that Pugwall's band (the Orange Organics) were ultra lame. They would have been acceptable as a school band at the most. Yet this show actually wants us to believe they ended up getting a contract with Mushroom Records? Bahahaaa. At least they were better than the band from Degrassi (which only had one song).

  • That chick ALWAYS did the same dance!

  • aussies do awesome tv like some brit shows.......

  • He's gonna sell some heroin. Thats whats he's gonna do lol

  • His dad was such a prick! ;) haha

  • Someone reminded me this existed today and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS.

This was like my favorite thing when I was 8

  • i know the dad isnt from new zealand but hes quite like Murrary from flight of the conchords

  • This is the reason I play.

  • don't say another single word!

  • Whose the blonde bird.....I remember her...thaught she was fit. Was she in Neighbours?

  • Peter Unwin George Wall = PUGWALL

  • The first time I got drunk was with the girl who played Danielle, the girl at the Fish 'n Chip shop. And I once played football against the drummer. Everyone on our team was trying to 'clean him up' so they would have a story to tell at school.

Ah, Fruity Lexia and knocking semi-famous guys off their feet. Sweet memories.

  • lolol pissa im havin flash backs big time

  • lmao love it

  • Shit man!!! I was so into this!!! The memories of my early teens!!!

  • Marion go to your room! lol...

  • round the twist is another classic aussie show , who says the aussies do bad tv lol, i was loving this as a kid.

  • God, us early 80s kids used to watch some shit! Lol!

  • I'd been trying to work out for ages what this show was called - could only remember the song, the band and the bikes. Also Finders Keepers with clock and the shopping centre haha.

Ozzie kids tv was so good back in the day with the stuff they showed on BBC2 and Channel4. Round the Twist, Wayne Manifesto, the one set on the submarine to name but a few.

  • Wonder what ever happened to Jenny.. seems her acting ended at Pugwall.

  • orange organics ftw

  • I'm 21, i used to love this show too, and Pugwall lol, god know's how i could of :s haha...

  • I'm 23 I loved this show!

  • what was the song that Jenny kept on singing all the time as they only had about 3 tunes

  • Ah I remember this! Cheesy song but I'm sure it'd be great to watch again

  • been trying to remember what this show is for years too. all i remembered was "...and me on my guitar!!"

aah the things a 21 year old remembers

  • I'm only nearly 21. This show was amazing, no one else my age remembers this, though. What a Travesty!

  • I remember this travesty. Satisfied?

  • i remember it lol

  • this was ace. peter unwin george wall a.k.a pugwall! total legend. his band was the orange organics. i can still remember some of their songs! what memories! i used to fancy that jenny bird. not his sister though MARMALOID!!!

  • Oh my god yeah, I remember this so well!

I hated Marmaloid. Do you remember the rap she did with her friend Melissa?

It was something like moo, moo marion, moo moo melissa, come in closer and have a listen!

The orange organics were amazing. Channel 4 in the summer holidays was the best! Saved by the Bell and California dreams!

  • now you mention that rap it's all come flooding back to me. got to love saved by the bell too. zack morris was cool as you like. the one when jessie was on drugs to help her study was well deep. thinking back to it now though makes me laugh.

  • can you remember The Henderson Kids on channel 4? thats another classic! I seem to remember Kylie being in it.

  • adapted from a novel??? get the fuck outta here

  • thanx man ive been tryin to remember the name of this show for years

  • can sum1 please help me out, there was an australian programme on around the same time as this where a boy called pactrick would go into a shop and see this statue with a clock and when the statue moved at a certain time pactrick would get sucked into anuther world, does any1 know the name of this show??ive asked other people but they havent a clue what im talkin about

  • its called Finders Keepers/Time keepers was the first series, i think that is what ur talking about, i loved those shows after school

  • tv gold

  • Been trying to think of the name of this for ages. All I could remember was it had a band in it and I fancied the lead actor. Thanks for putting it up

  • that jenny bird has some killer dance moves :P

  • it hasn't aged well

but this was probably the most important tv programme of my childhood, so i can't help but fucking love it

  • old skool

  • God I remember this,

I dont remember it being this shit though.

  • if i was pugwall i would be trying to find my real parents

  • LOL!!

  • i loved this prog! Reminds me of summer holidays at my nans. I had such a crush on Troy Beckwith then he was in neighbours. In fact isn't that pugwall bloke in neighbours now? I recognise him.

  • I could never understand why 'Michael' from neighbours was 'good' in Pugwall, and 'bad' in Neighbours...lol :)

  • Ah Michael Martin. The 90's are just flooding back!! ;-)

  • LOL "Nobody Tells Me What To Say..."

Then The Next Aston Was "Scripts"....

  • this is so retro, i love it

  • One of the best shows of the time. It used to play in the mornings around the same time as Sister Sister, Clarissa Explains It All, Saved By The Bell and others, yet was possibly better than most of those combined ('tis hard to beat Saved By The Bell after all).

Still, is it just me or was every song they sung just a single line repeated twice or more before the song "finished"? Lazy writers! lol

  • For some reason I fancied the tall blond one (Stringbean?) back in the day! lol

  • I used to love watching this, saying that decent classic tv is spoilt by the likes of teletubbies etc haha

  • You legend, who could forget Peter Unwin George Wall!!!? Can't remember my 8 times tables but can remember the guy's full name.

Every frame of this is pure genius. I lol'ed so hard when he's running down the beach with Jenny in the opening credits. He looks a bit special.

  • OMG so TRAGIC but sooooo funny ... loved this as a kid!

  • I LOVED this show, although watching now I'm not entirely sure why...

  • Shit this brings me back

  • Did Pugwall grow up to be the fat tongued, crap chef jamie oliver???

  • Peter Unwin George Wall

  • I just saw an auction on eBay for the original soundtrack to Pugwall's Summer. Has all the songs on. I'm so gotta win it. About a week left to win it.

  • Great stuff! I loved this show as a kid.

Whats Jenny doing in the intro song???

She's not singing, she just prances around the stage.

    Still, classic stuff......cheers.

Who remembers the episode where his sister Marion/Marmaloide eats loads of chocolate and pukes up on a carnival ride, that was awesome.

  • Woah check out the size of that wedge cut on pugwall!H christ!!!

  • Pugwalls hair is legendary!

    Gotta love it.

  • was is just me or did anyone wanna bang pugwall's girl?!

  • @escada2004 she was to hot wen i was younger...lol

  • hhaha used to love this. Its all I watched in the summer holidays...the bigger breakfast and Pugwalls Summer

  • MORE PUGWALL NEEDED!! Dustindustries you need to DOUBLE DARE before a PHYSICAL CHALLANGE can happen :p

  • MEMMORIES MAN!!!

  • Thanks to all who post the old skool stuff, keep it coming. I just can`t get enough!

  • I just saw Pugwall yesterday on a new ad for Drambuie, he is a drummer in a band and looks ruff as guts as the ad says `not for bogans`. Still got the long hair he had when he was on the aussie sitcom called Newlyweds. F**K the 2000`s I would go back to the 80`s and 90`s in a flash. PHYSICAL CHALLENGE!

  • I loved this show, but Ken James is such a douchebag! hahaha

  • yes, yes, yes... just fantastic, so many memories. please please please upload more. got any whole episodes?

  • It made me want to play the guitar as well. I've never seen anyone play a synthesiser with a strap though.

  • oh people in brits and ireland, rejoice

  • That was fab!! I've been racking my brains trying to thionk of what this programme was called and you've helped me out loads!!!

  • his da was a fascist!

  • As sad as it sounds this is the reason that I started to play guitar....

  • Not sad man, i started it for the same reason (+more) but this was a big reason i have 5 guitars today

  • haahaaa!!!

No way dude! Pugwall inspired you!

  • Excellent, love the fact you have 5! I have Ukelele now and its all because of this man lol. I want to learn No Reason Why on it, ahhaha.
