I don't think Devourment is terrible but they really can't compare to Disgorge which are a much more talented band. Devourment is a fun band to listen to and they can be pretty heavy at times but they're just a cool band to mosh to and that's it.

Actually Cephalic Carnage uses drop-tuning for example. And a lot of other great bands such as Nile and Nasum play in Drop. Tuning does not determinates player's skills or something. And I realy don't think that you can play something from Cephalic Carnage or Nile in standard.
