I know what a "soul singer" is, and I know quite a bit about music @sezyazgangsta, I consider Mary to be a soul singer with jazz influence, but most others in that genre, stay on key more than she does, I'm not saying I don't like her I'm just pointing that out and they usually tend to have more polish, however she is the most popular, so she gets the utmost respect from me from one music lover to another.

She sings off key too much, don't pretend that you don't hear it. The thing is she puts her 100% into her performances and that's what I love about her and I am sure some of you all like it too, because its not her vocals.
