Good show, mates! Beautiful voices! Even Audrey II. Though I'd like to know why it had a girl's voice singing. It was a little distracting just because of that...

Audrey has a very pretty voice, but I don't feel the emotion. The plant is quite flat in a lot of parts, although he has a nice tone.

I think clarkesparkle means that the person playing Audrey II in this production is a girl, despite the fact that Audrey II is a male plant.

Personally I think that detracts from this scene, but that's just me.

I thought the joke was that it was a male actor but Audrey II is actually a female plant ('Mean Green Mother'?)

Anyway we had a girl playing Audrey II in our production and she was really good :)
