Owning both this game and the previous wii and ps2 games my conclusion is... Really good game but with so many predicessors it was never going to be as good or better, just different :)

Looks pretty awesome. Nice graphics and some cool new options. The new special moves system looks a tad more complicated, but I guess it just needs to get used to.
I'm really missing the huge roster, though. Sure, characters like Appule, Cell Jr. and the near identical Oozarus were pretty stupid, but every now and then playing with characters like Tao, Hercule or Arale was pretty fun.
But one should try the game before issuing a final veredict.

Yes but not all modes allow costumization. Story doesnt fx, and it would require a minor upgrade to engine, to make that work, and then oozaru might join again
This game is satisfactory, but the main problems are the same as in Burst Limit: the creators cut the corners. Instead of giving SSJ3 Goku and Scouter Vegeta their ultimates, they decided to give them beams instead of recreating their rushes, not to mention that there is Buu with Gohan Absorbed, BUT NO ULTIMATE GOHAN.
I don't think Goku not having Super Dragon Fist is a big deal and there is nothing wrong with Scouter Vegeta having final Galick Cannon as his ultimate either. It fits the character nicely.
It's not the moves that's the problem, it's the fact that they're cutting corners copying the same moves over and over instead of doing the character's original rush.

You're misinterpreting my message. Goku already has Super Kamehameha for his SSJ3 stage, so why have the same exact move for his ultimate? You said the exact same thing for Master Roshi's ultimate in BT3.
"True Kamehameha" hasn't even been in a game before, it's just a Super Kamehameha with increased damage and a small cutscene that everyone else uses. Would you rather have Dragon Fist or a rehash for an ultimate?
I bought this game, since it's predecessor is on the PS2 and my PS2 quit working years ago. I've been without a tenkaichi styled fighter for some time now. So I was lookin' forward to Raging blast much, and I'm not regretting paying 80 dollars to get it early either.

Not at all. There are games out there that have a bunch of stuff happening on the screen at once with no lag. Look at Call of Duty for example. If you're talking about Tenakichi 3's lag in particular, it was on the Wii. The PS3 or 360 could easily handle all of the action put into that game.

My best character in Budokai 3 was Uub. I destroyed people with him (the Uub from DBZ, not the gay one from GT) Some people prefer using those characters, as nobody else uses them, making them not aware of that characters moves, so it could be difficult for someone to adjust for that match

Anyway, I've played GameCube games too, and I also know that these graphics (backgrounds and characters) have noticable differences. If I were to play GameCube (a past-gen console) and then an X360 game (a "next-gen" console), the leap would be so undeniable it smacks you right in the mouth, demanding to be noticed.

The grapics flow too well. Instend of t person jumping into their "charge puch" anamation, he "flows" into it. It feels like it's slower, but it's not.
Doesnt feel any slower to me. The only thing that is slower is how long it takes before your combo resets. As in when you can use an attack again without knocking them away.
i suppose its the quality of the characters that count and not the quality of them. BT3 had so many useless characters like babidi, cui, appule and people like that.
5-10 cool characters (Ultimate Gohan among them) dropped from the Bt3 roster, but along with them, about 50 moderately useless ones that nobody played as went with them.

I think it's what we get--Kaioken hand gap is due to there being the LSSJ Broly--I guess it's made for all characters, the bigger ones would probably fit...

I love what they did with the beams. The choice to make them smaller makes them stand out so much more.
There was a limit in BL, and we clearly passed it when everybody, their mother, their dog, and their 2 year old's stuffed animal can blow up half the planet. To be honest, I liked the huge beams, but this game is just as good.

i loved the angry kamehameha struggle, ive never been able to do anything like that on the demo, if i do a normal one and the oponent does the same they just kinda meet in the middle and stop
The demo itself is not too glitchy the actual game should have most if not all of them fixed i have also owned BT3 and played it religiously but i dont play it no more so i cant wait to get this i will always love DBZ.

Personally, I think this will be a kick-ass game. I can already see that its more fun than BL. BL is just... So annoying after a few battles, especially after a few battles in story mode. Only the one thing that bugs me is the size of beam attacks, they are just too small.
i played bt3 quite a bit and i really had a hard time adapting to these controls in the demo. it looks great, i just wish i were as good as this demo as i was with bt3. Still, im really looking forward to this when it comes out.
So, Omega, what do you think of the inclusion of the two "new" SSJ3 characters (Broly and Vegeta)...
Personally, I believe the two balance each other out (Broly will be the subject of EVEN MOAR fanboyism; Vegeta will hopefully balance that out a bit).
Oh but since you can deflect blasts I can have Krillin slap away SSj3 Broly's attack. Plenty of ways to have fun with a character even if you dont like them.
The thing I like those is we have another game where real what if characters are being made. Hopefully this time the trend will continue and we can get more.

Anyways, when I say N64 graphics, I mean that the graphics look horrible for a next gen console. They are something the gamecube could pull off.

I think it's what we get--Kaioken hand gap is due to there being the LSSJ Broly--I guess it's made for all characters, the bigger ones would probably fit...

I love what they did with the beams. The choice to make them smaller makes them stand out so much more.
There was a limit in BL, and we clearly passed it when everybody, their mother, their dog, and their 2 year old's stuffed animal can blow up half the planet. To be honest, I liked the huge beams, but this game is just as good.
More realism and smaller beams that stand out more FTW.

i loved the angry kamehameha struggle, ive never been able to do anything like that on the demo, if i do a normal one and the oponent does the same they just kinda meet in the middle and stop

The demo itself is not too glitchy the actual game should have most if not all of them fixed i have also owned BT3 and played it religiously but i dont play it no more so i cant wait to get this i will always love DBZ.

wow its a demo meaning that more can be added and more can be fixed with the time left before the actual game itself comes out so i would say give it a chance since the real thing hasnt even came out yet

No. The game is pretty much ready. Since it's a demo a lot of stuff had been restricted. Like different camera settings, customization, etc.

Budokai 3 is the BEST game of all the DBZ games they made from Dimps.
DB Raging blast is/will be the best game out of all the BTs made from Spike.

Personally, I think this will be a kick-ass game. I can already see that its more fun than BL. BL is just... So annoying after a few battles, especially after a few battles in story mode. Only the one thing that bugs me is the size of beam attacks, they are just too small.

i played bt3 quite a bit and i really had a hard time adapting to these controls in the demo. it looks great, i just wish i were as good as this demo as i was with bt3. Still, im really looking forward to this when it comes out.

So, Omega, what do you think of the inclusion of the two "new" SSJ3 characters (Broly and Vegeta)...
Personally, I believe the two balance each other out (Broly will be the subject of EVEN MOAR fanboyism; Vegeta will hopefully balance that out a bit).

Oh but since you can deflect blasts I can have Krillin slap away SSj3 Broly's attack. Plenty of ways to have fun with a character even if you dont like them.
The thing I like those is we have another game where real what if characters are being made. Hopefully this time the trend will continue and we can get more.

While (L)SSJ3 Broly is going to be cool, same with SSJ3 Vegeta, I'm just fearing the fanboy's rise, is all. The last thing I want is for an intelligent debate to be ruined like that...
Anyway, I'm still incredibly stoked for this game, and pretty much am asking for it for Christmas (that's a long shot, though).

A game should be judge on how it is fun not graphics or gameplay. Its that right their that make it hard for some people to buy the game.
All I'm saying judge a game on how fun it is instead of the battle system or graphics. Hell just have fun playing the game. Don't think about the graphics or gameplay. Seriously!!!
