@JerkWarlord In the US, yes, it is FMA: Brotherhood to distinguish it from the first FMA series, but in Japan it is known simply as FMA, the same as the first series. I think at the time I had decided to go with the original title. However, to avoid confusion I will change it, thanks :) Glad you liked the video.

@TheWesternSage Sure thing! :D It's easily the best FMA AMV I've ever seen. What I like best is it's simplicity-it's not overruled with effects or anything. It's just clips, for the most part, and it goes that well with the music. The story told is the best to tell from the whole series, too. (':

@JerkWarlord Part of that is probably because I only have windows movie maker to work with >_> But I've never been a big fan of distracting effects. But this video, I had in mind ever since I read the Xerxes chapters of the manga, (and that Doctor Who episode, not sure which came first) had to wait for Brotherhood to come out to finally make it, so I had plenty of time to plan it out. I'm a big Hohenheim fan, so I definitely agree with you about it being the best story to tell in the series. :D

I found similarities between Gallifrey and Xerxes, both were advanced civilizations but there downfall began when they believed they could do something without consequences like the King of Xerxes sacrificing his own people for his own greed thereby sealing the fate of the entire country.

I also found some similarities between the Doctor/Master and Hohenheim/Father. Both were initially friends until they became enemies.

@Kryptonian250 Yeah, I totally agree with you on these points. I think it's part of the reason I wanted to make this video. I definitely see some Doctor and Master in Hohenheim and Father's histories.

As for Xerxes and Gallifrey, they are both sort of Atlantis archetypes in that they're both civilizations that became so arrogant as to think they could defy the laws of nature, and paid the price for it. :)

I love this, I made a fma amv haha but mine had words. Um but this one really made me feel better about my video. Oh and not saying mine is better!!!! haha I mean like the simple effects he/she uses to make this video, made me see that lots of flashy effects are not needed to make a good amv! I was worried that since I never use effects other than fading and flashing that nobody would like it. So thaanks!!!

DW has some great music, this is one of my faves and I think it fits Hoho really well, heck even the song's context in DW fits it pretty well. (Hoho/Father is sort of similar to Doctor/Master IMHO)
