Hey man, I'm planning on getting the Stingers soon. Please tell me they sound louder in front of you and it's just the camera not catching the full sound?
@VetteAholicZ06 You know what I might of just had my volume too low lmao.....thanks for sharing by the way. I love the deep rumble they have to them. I kept going back and forth between these, flowmasters etc etc. Hearing them on my buddies Z06 sold me. I know I don't have the same HP on my '92 but due to having a more free flowing exhaust system I know it will sound like his.
@VetteAholicZ06 I have tried a variety of exhausts and found the Stingers to be the best in my opinion. The deep rumble is well worth the purchase! The Stingers do sound much better in real life than on camera, and the interior sound is awesome. I don't even listen to the radio anymore, just the rumble of the exhaust!
@SkullBarber Hey man I got them installed this past weekend, they are FREAKING deep, when accelerating I couldn't hear my friend lol. Worst part is I haven't got any tip on yet! So the drone is insane inside, so much drone that it rattles things inside the car and makes you sound like a robot when you speak because it rattles your throat.
@VetteAholicZ06 LOL! Yes, it is a very nice exhaust system. Those tips can be a pain in the butt. Took me a while to get them aligned, and they still don't look right, but oh well... Love the sound!
@Hugo350R Mostly. It has an Edelbrock intake and aftermarket runners. I have also ported the plenum and replaced the entire exhaust system with a stainless 2.5" system. There are other smaller mods such as the frisbee removal and deletion of the a/c compressor and smog systems. Also modified the air cleaner housing to let more cold air into the intake and descreened the MAF. No internal engine work, just bolt ons.
naa thats 2 quiet.....think my flow masters have more of a growl...
