A joy and delight forever. The introduction bears more than a passing resemblance to the "G'schichten aus dem...." (an altogether more heavier waltz) but this is a lively and spritely piece.

If one can make a feminine comparision where the Blue Danube will be a grand dame (somewhat like Queen Victoria or the Empress Maria Theresa), the Tales a lovely matron, this one is like a perky teenager (bubbling over with energy and life).

The greatest of the greats will ever endure. This piece in particular has something of a reference in the game Dragon Age: Origins in the form of a trophy/achievement called "Wine, Woman, Song" awarded for romancing a certain character. I kid you not.
