The thing i like most about this,, is that when you join the fight, your just some other random guy, and the other dude punches you.

But when you draw out the knife. You have total attention. Total respect. People listen to you. YOUR in control of the ENTIRE situation,, and doesn't that make it safer for you ?? x

hardly. A human instinct is not to attack unless in fear of life. The moment you pull out the blade, you strike fear into everyone around you. They will end up doing things they would NOT do had they not been in fear of their life and not had adrenalin pumping through their veins.

I agree that for that one moment as you brandish the knife you may think you are in control, but you are still vastly outnumbered and you really only have 2 options - to fight or flee. The former resulting in death or prison, the latter also in death (the other gang will now have a vendetta against you, leading to likely being shanked in the near future) or prison.

So really you then have no control over anything in the future.
