How do you train with gripper? Today my training session ended like this; First hot bath for the hands 3 minutes. 2x5@CoC1 2x3@CoC1½ 1@CoC2 4x1@CoC2½ clamped down to paralell 1@CoC3 negative 2x1@CoC2½ negative Too much or too little? I'm trying to do contrast baths every day to recover faster and I'm training mondays and thursdays
very impressive i can close a 2 without a set but cant even close a 3 with a set :) I have been training with grippers for about 6 months. I am a rather skinny guy at 6"3 i weigh 155 I was wondering how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
@Darrylrfd123 Closing a #2 without a set is not too easy! I just got mine and can close it with a set but im about a half inch from no setting it. Been training about 8 weeks now. Try picking up a #2.5, it's a great stepping stone to the #3. If not, keep attacking that #3, You'll get it eventually! All the best

This is a very good close because you didn't help with your other hand to put it in position. How is the number 3.5? There is a video here on youtube where one guy does the 3.5 and crushes it that is amazing to see!
I see you do your no set like me. What I mean is you close it with your first two fingers a little bit first. My hands are 7 3/4'' but I still do that because my hands may be a little bit bigger than yours but not enough to where I can no-set without adjusting the gripper a lot like you.
:) What big hands..take a look again and notice how I can just barely get my fingers properly on the handle to get it started. My hands are just a tad over 7". But thanks Pete!
Does this mean that you're not Clark Kent's long lost brother and that regular people could train to mangle a #3 like that? I handled a #3 once before, someone showed me a #3 and I couldn't budge it much with one hand, and didn't even get it closed with two hands.
:) Define regular ;) Seriously though, I think that any man with enough determination and guts can get there. But that might also be the main reason why few get there and most don't. As you might know, list of those men who have closed it officially is short. My name should soon be on that list, as I closed that #3 officially just a few days ago.
@TeemuI And to add to that a possibly inspirational story, it took me five years to close the #3, but I refused to give up, when I started out I could just barely, and I mean BARELY close the #1 and couldn't quite get it left. Now I've got my sights set on the #4. By the way, I heard that you've mowed down the #4. Can't wait to see you cert on that monster as well.
He's right, almost anybody with enough determination, guts, and long-lasting interest could get to closing the #3, it's still a huge accomplishment of course, but it isn't something that only Superman can do either. Maybe some day you could be putting up a video on YouTube of yourself closing the #3 gripper.

How the hell is it possible to be that physically strong? Woah........I got dizzy seeing that. That was really a #3? Scary shit man.
