A friend of mine was a spinner and used to experiment with fishing weights on the spin resulting in very slow and long spins. He had very thin cut urethane wheels and spun on smooth concrete. This video is incredible, the amount of 360's.

dam that was amazing whats the technique? ive always heard its about the technique not how muchtimes you do it in about 7 months of skateboarding ive started at 180 to 1080 spin and compared to that my spins freakin suck! anybody know the secret?

Practice. Russ used to practice 360s for three hours a day.  Plus you need awesome balance and special steel wheels. And practice over and over again.

Russ Howell has his own website. You can email him and ask him about his core muscles. But he's really close to the ground. Not a tall guy. Very, nice, and easy to talk to.

Somehow he learned the technique. I never got past 11 of them. And even that was a challenge. He found the technique and capatlized on it.

When counting 360s you must really look at were hes board was pointing when he started cause he goes around so much plus the camera were going around him
