Very hard to tell. Not too many of the Dutch players nearby were complaining. Holland got a questionable penalty before that. Cruyff was fouled outside the box if you look at it. Germany should have gotten another penalty later on in the game and had a goal ruled off. For some reason nobody ever mentions these scenes.
@YrrHoch3 I'm glad you are one of the very few people who notice that Cruyff was fouled outside the box. For some reason nobody who reviews this game ever mentions that.
Clumsy tackle but probably the first dive in a world cup final...Hope Holland people realise what it is to have a blind referee. Please see Seville 82 : France - Germany and the referee (Herr KORVER) was Dutch !!! of all people...
if this was dive, for sure the second penalty (on 2nd half) NOT given by the referee was regular and a yellow card as well, but the referee didn't whisper at all. After all, this game was conducted by West Germany and it deserved to win. Sorry for Netherland that on previous games played the most beautiful play up to date but on the final it messed it. That's it.
@dylan94lfc yeah, right! Look again. What are you going to do when the moving leg is suddenly stopped? You fly and when gravity takes over, you dive! Off course you would want to have a controlled crash to minimize the risk of major injury!
Dive!, Like always the germans are football biggest cheaters in 1974 this dive, in 1982 Schumacher and Battiston, in 1986 a validate goal scored from a mexican anulated, 1990 the final penalty and Klinsmann dives every match, 2002 the hand that prevented USA from scoring and 2010 the Lampard goal, they always cheat and when they don't they don't win anything like 1978, 1994 and 1998 world cups, you ruined the game!!!!
bY the referee's position he just saw a side tackle but never considered a dive, back then, there were no yellow cards for diving because it was not common to see a diver.
Germans always talk about 66 and how England stole the world cup from England but you never here them talking about how they stole this world cup from holland
My gut feeling is a dive. Yes, the defender tackles dangerously, but Hoelzenbein has started diving already. I remember his alias was "Schwalbe" "swallow", "diver" ... It was not meant to be ... Referees are part of the game and like players they also make mistakes ...
was there contact? absolutely, but Holzembein went looking for Jansen's leg more than the other way around... Jansen's tackle was too premature for a foul... bad call in my book
No, è stato preso sul piede d'appoggio secondo me, però non è così influente anche se ci fosse stata una simulazione. Perché c'era un rigore netto al s.t. per la germania oltre al fatto che gli è stato annullato un goal regolare.
Excuse but for me is difficult to explain this in english.
W. Germany deserved to win the Euro 72 and World Cup 90, they were outstanding, but most neutrals were disappointed brilliant Hungary in 54 and Holland in 74 didn't get their just reward. Still, great credit to the Germans for their usual competitive spirit, and they did have some top players of course, Beckenbaur, Muller, Breitrner, Vogts... They lost the 66 final to home advantage (Hurst's "goal" didn't cross the line); Portugal, England + Germany were about equal. Here, silly tackle + dive
It was clearly demonstrated in another video, the defender didn´t touch him, and the way of falling from the German it was clearly a dive. Taylor was at five meters behind and givign this penalty it is a shame for him. Except the first penalty that was undisputable, Taylor already made some concessions to the Germans, starting by allowing to Vogts to tackling to Cruyff constantly and other issues.
I completely agree with you "urassteppenwolf"... Jansen's tackle was premature and Holzembein was looking for some form of leg contact to get away with it... the German player ran out of room and he was surrounded by three Dutch defenders... Taylor was too naive and he bought it
So it´s just you have no idea what you´re talking about! Just look at it again and you´ll see that the defender is an idiot! One simply doesn´t attack like that in the area. He definitely touched him so Hölzenbein said thanks for the invitation! Penalty!
A final is a final and Rep and his two forward mates didn't block Overath's left drive were it all started. Holsenbein first flex his right knee to jump while falling. Oscar went to the guy.
THe Germans justifiably won the 90 World Cup--I am Argentinian, but they did not play well the rest of the decade: World Cups 1994, and 1998 prove that.
You should show the penalty that Holland was awarded in the first minute. Cruyff was fouled outside the box. Take a close look!
This penalty was correct. The dutch player is sliding into the legs of the german and misses the ball. doesn't even matter if he touches him or not. he disrupts his run.

Fuckin' wanker Holzenbein. The victory belonged to the Dutch...diving is always an integral part of the German soccer game...I bet they teach it to their children...
holland easily had the best team in the world at the time holland should had a penalty before germany (seriosly give me 1 as famous name as cruif or van basten in germany) greetz from sweden
Fritz Walter, Uwe Seeler, Franz Beckenbauer, Lothar Matthäus, Jürgen Klinsmann, Rudi Völler, Matthias Sammer, Michael Ballack ... do you want more? ;-)
Beckenbauer I know, Matthäus for his funny name, and among the rest there is one who called Rijkaard a racist name and one whose father helped to persecute Jews. The rest I don't know. Congratulations on your players! ;-)
Not only an italian , but everyone in the world is allowed to write the word "cowardice" talking about Nazis,SS & Gestapo.
What else ability did those people have ?
Maybe you should forget usual clichès & start on studying real history : Italy had no armored & financial power to fight any war, but at least Italian Navy Submarines' crews preferred dieing into their ships rather than escaping & abandoning Enigma top secret code to the british enemy ..!
again for the not-so-fast-thinking: this is about you saying germany is only cheating and stealing. YOU are the biggest shame for italy and their people. posting 5 comments, you attacked me 7 times personally and gave barely one single argument on the subject. you act like a 14 year old, without any control over his nervs. it all ads up by you suddenly speaking about olympic gold metals (against austria), after saying Eurocup does not mean anything. i have only one/three word(s):LOL.
and grosso was touched....if that scene would have been ANYWHERE but in the box, he would not even regnognize it and would have kept playing. no..grosso KNEW what he was doing, so keep your moral judges about others for yourself.
i forgot to mention in my last posts: in 68, their only eurocup-victory, italy needed a FLIPPED COIN to come into the final LMAO.
and not all referee-decisions in the wc-history were PRO germany, just remember 66.
and england was not beaten on homesoil until the 50´s. in ´34 they played a friendly match against italy. it was seen as the "real wc-final" from a lot of people by then, cause england did not participate in the wc, and nowhere else soccer had such a professional level as it had in england. the italian government had even give every player an alpha romeo for beating england.
one broken feet and a broken nose in that game shows how important it was on both sides. and england won. but i take back my "it was the best team", it was only "one of the best teams", but that certainly.
hey! whats the hell is wrong with you? i tried to discuss this in a normal way and you insult me, the german team and other teams like denmark and greece??? even if we have different opinions, there is no way an adult should behave like that.
in the first game angainst hungary germany played with the B-team, and in the final hungary was also the better team, they were just not able to score. so the outcome has nothing to do with doping. and again: there is NO PROOF whatsoever for your claim, "being in a clinic" is none. period.
the foul i mentioned was in the 58th minute on augenthaler. i agree it was a boring game, but argentina just defended the whole time, so there was no real flow. and germany was a deserved winner, or you try to say that argentinia had deserved the title??
it was italy against AUSTRALIA, not ukraine, my fault. there was a match winning dive for italy. and in the semis it was a whistle-blow in the 81rst minute cannavaro to podolski, which led to a freekick, althought the incident was in the box.
i dont speak only about today, where italy is perhaps the better team, i speak about the whole history of worldcups. just some comparative worldcup facts:
GERMANY played 16 from 18 wc´s., achieved 92 games, won 55, draw 19, loss 18, goals 198:109
reached final 7 times, semifinal 11 times, 2 wc, in which they did not reach the quarters.
italy has 2 worlcups from the 30s, where soccer was not, what soccer is today, with only few teams, without england (the best team at that time) and with ´34 mussolini bribing the refs and putting them under pressure (especially René Mercet and Ivan Eklind, if you wanna do some research). the quarters ´34 italy-spain were a disgrace for soccer.
so all italy is living and playing for is to beat germany a couple of times (and btw. firenze was a friendly-match)? thank you, thats the best compliment the german team ever got
just check & learn what kind of AMAZING PLAYERS they had, since you look not to know so much of football . 1934 (with ref's help in 4th final vs Spain, I'm objective myself and I know football ) & 1938 World Champion & 1936 Berlin Olympics Gold Medal with a team made of univ. students. So england the best in the 30s is something totally dreamed by you and simply ridiculos & laughable. Same English never called for this immaginary supremacy because it never existed
So there's an enormous difference , if someone knows FOOTBALL LAWS . I agree it was not penalty, but it was not a dive : other teams & players dived on WC 2006,not the Italians if see true facts and fail from
talking of football by saying only ridiculous
& false clichès .
Not mentioning your odd, invented & funny personal dreamed football history .
Your argumantation doesn't make sence. It doesn't matter how Argentina played and you are not the person who decides who deserves the cup. Germany wasn't able to shoot against Argentina's B-team and the ref gave it to them. The only thing i remember is Klinsmann's and Völler's diving. Germany wasn't the great team in 1990 many say they were, in the last three games of the WC they didn't show anything!!!
Match rewatched : after Holland's scoring there was
the Germany's reaction on 1s half. 2nd half completely dominated from the Dutches, who crushed Germany in their box-area and who could have scored 2-3 goals more. In 2nd half, objectively, there was a
clear penalty for Germany . I don't know how someone can adfirm Germany deserved that final .....
as you pointed out, 74, in the second half there was "objectively" a clear penalty for germany. so was in 1990 (i think it was a foul against augenthaler). so in both finals there was penalty. and ´54 people like Ferenc Puskás, who suffered his hole life from the final loss, brought up doping rumors. as you cant prove such things, and its highly doubtfull, you should not claim things like that, espiacially, if you are objectively, how you try to quote out so often.
blumentopf I try to be ojectively , what about you ? In 1954 stolen cup by german team totally dopped in final ,there are plenty of witness statements & medical proofs
that the german players got hospitalized for 3 months in a private clinic ,the same team who's got heavily dopped. It was the same team who was hevily beaten by hungary on 1st
round match and the whole world knows since
ever that dopped germany robbed 1954 world cup, except the germans ......
no-existing news. That time the only one dopped and cheating 1954 cup were only the germans, not mentioning the 3-3 tieing hungarian goal misteriously not validated.
The penalty in the second half for Germany does never justify this given penalty. Because without the first their wouldn't be the second penalty, the whole game would be another. Fact is Germany couldn't equalize, the German dived and only this brought them back into the game.
and "all about in world cup history": they stood in the semifinal 10 times and won the european title 3 times, even though they could not enter each tournament. in my opinion germany is just highly underestimated. even a player like klose, who won the golden shoe in 2006 and the silver shoes in 2002, is not regnognized internationally as an european superstar. if he had played for brazil or if he had one of those gigantic advertisement-contracts that problably would be different.
and one word for italy (even if it hurts me a little bit, cause my father is italian too): italy is known for playing defensive and often winning by one goal (like germany in the final 74). that does not make them bad. and dives and penaltys....just recall 2006 game versus the ukraine, and the semifinal versus germany. in the first they dived to the victory, in the second germany was not given a clear penalty, only a freekick.
In 2006 WC the 4th final vs ukraine was regular & there was no penalty in that match, semifinal vs germany I know that you
were got accustomed in diving to get a penalty in WC but objectively only the germans can see a penalty in that match,'cos
the whole world didn't see your imaginary match, you saw a different match from real one. True facts : that was another football lesson that Italy gave (as always) to so overrated & unskilled germany, a lesson of
germany was the better team in the final...müller was wrongfully recalled a goal in minute 59..this has cost him last year the alltimetopscorer title in worldcup.. he was 2 meters onside...in minute 89 of the game hölzenbein clearly was fouled in the penalty box and no call...there was more questionable decisions against the germans in this game.. wondering how many people here actuel ever have seen the whole match....not many i think
One soft penalty cancelled out the other, the earlier Dutch penalty arose out of an equally dubious foul. Jack Taylor had a nightmare start to the game, but if anybody saw the whole game you would see that the Germans deserved to come out winners. Having said that there is no doubting that the Dutch played the most attractive football of the tournament.
Of course it was a dive . There was no contact made between the German player and any Dutch defender . Referee Taylor made an error which got the Germans back in the match . That Dutch side of 1974 were probably the best and most entertaining team of all-time , with the possible exception of Brazil in 1970 . And Johan Cruijff is the best European player ever , and probably in the top 3 players of all-time .
Lol... Cruijff didnt win a single trophy (International) , and so didnt the "great team".
Its true that Holland always plays nice football, fast and lovely to watch. But its also true that they are too stupid to grab the victory. They had 45 Minutes in the 2nd half to get back into the game!
Please, the refs were tripping over themselves to get the west Germany to the Cup. They should have never even played in the final. Poland had them beat if not for the intervention of the ref. Germans never deserved that Cup.
quite clearly??!! Honestly it was a referee's big mistake. "Enschuldigung" but wasn't diving an exclusive ability of Italians?... Just think about it,

Just the fact that Jansen was dumb enough to attack Hölzenbein this way in the penalty area makes this decision correct.
GBT10 3 years ago 2
In what way? Jansen makes a sliding, evidently not to Hölzenbeins leg, but to the ball - just according to the rules.
The fact that Jansen did not hit the ball is no proof whatsoever that he *intended* to play Hölzenbeins leg.
There was no option for the referee then to give Jansen the benefit of the doubt. That he didn't do that, shows his lack of professionalism.

rob 1974 cup a dive or a foul ? I hate germany and their wooden-leg liar
pussy players, who cheated as diving cowards
or dopped thieves all their World Cups !
That's what germany in sport is all about :
cheating, lieing , behaving cowardly being so brazen-faced as their fathers 70ys ago !!

An Italian mentioning the war and talking about cowardice of others - this is really a joke!
Nachtjaeger2 4 years ago 3
Not only an italian , but everyone in the world is allowed to write the word "cowardice" talking about Nazis,SS & Gestapo.
What else ability did those people have ?
Maybe you should forget usual clichès & start on studying real history : Italy had no armored & financial power to fight any war, but at least Italian Navy Submarines' crews preferred dieing into their ships rather than escaping & abandoning Enigma top secret code to the british enemy ..!
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
A german who pretends to judge someone else on cowardice, that's the one joke ! DD
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
I never mentioned Nazis, SS or Gestapo, you did that. Did I say they were especially brave? I don´t think I did.
Nachtjaeger2 4 years ago
again for the not-so-fast-thinking: this is about you saying germany is only cheating and stealing. YOU are the biggest shame for italy and their people. posting 5 comments, you attacked me 7 times personally and gave barely one single argument on the subject. you act like a 14 year old, without any control over his nervs. it all ads up by you suddenly speaking about olympic gold metals (against austria), after saying Eurocup does not mean anything. i have only one/three word(s):LOL.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
and grosso was touched....if that scene would have been ANYWHERE but in the box, he would not even regnognize it and would have kept playing. no..grosso KNEW what he was doing, so keep your moral judges about others for yourself.
i forgot to mention in my last posts: in 68, their only eurocup-victory, italy needed a FLIPPED COIN to come into the final LMAO.
and not all referee-decisions in the wc-history were PRO germany, just remember 66.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
and england was not beaten on homesoil until the 50´s. in ´34 they played a friendly match against italy. it was seen as the "real wc-final" from a lot of people by then, cause england did not participate in the wc, and nowhere else soccer had such a professional level as it had in england. the italian government had even give every player an alpha romeo for beating england.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
one broken feet and a broken nose in that game shows how important it was on both sides. and england won. but i take back my "it was the best team", it was only "one of the best teams", but that certainly.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
You all have just red a fine examples of
ridiculous & one-way typical lies german style ......
Anyway the question object of this posted video is : World Cup 1974 is it a fault or a dive ?
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
hey! whats the hell is wrong with you? i tried to discuss this in a normal way and you insult me, the german team and other teams like denmark and greece??? even if we have different opinions, there is no way an adult should behave like that.
but for the arguments:
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
wc 1954:
in the first game angainst hungary germany played with the B-team, and in the final hungary was also the better team, they were just not able to score. so the outcome has nothing to do with doping. and again: there is NO PROOF whatsoever for your claim, "being in a clinic" is none. period.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago 2
1990:
the foul i mentioned was in the 58th minute on augenthaler. i agree it was a boring game, but argentina just defended the whole time, so there was no real flow. and germany was a deserved winner, or you try to say that argentinia had deserved the title??
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
2006:
it was italy against AUSTRALIA, not ukraine, my fault. there was a match winning dive for italy. and in the semis it was a whistle-blow in the 81rst minute cannavaro to podolski, which led to a freekick, althought the incident was in the box.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
wooden-leg germany/bright shining heroically italy/defensive/etc.etc.:
i dont speak only about today, where italy is perhaps the better team, i speak about the whole history of worldcups. just some comparative worldcup facts:
GERMANY played 16 from 18 wc´s., achieved 92 games, won 55, draw 19, loss 18, goals 198:109
reached final 7 times, semifinal 11 times, 2 wc, in which they did not reach the quarters.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
ITALY played 17 from 18 wc´s., achieved 77 games, won 44, draw 19, lost 14, goals 122:69.
reached final 6 times, semifinal 8 times, 8(!) times they did not reach the quarters (with 5 times out in first round).
italy is very inconsistent.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
italy has 2 worlcups from the 30s, where soccer was not, what soccer is today, with only few teams, without england (the best team at that time) and with ´34 mussolini bribing the refs and putting them under pressure (especially René Mercet and Ivan Eklind, if you wanna do some research). the quarters ´34 italy-spain were a disgrace for soccer.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
Eurocup:
is less worth then wc, i agree, but nevertheless italy DO CARE about the eurocup and tries to win them - they are just not very sucessfully.
AND FINALLY 1974: YES, it was a dive in my opinion.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
AND: "eurocup.....Italy does not care 'cos
we proved each time to be so superior to
wooden-leg germans !! " ???
so all italy is living and playing for is to beat germany a couple of times (and btw. firenze was a friendly-match)? thank you, thats the best compliment the german team ever got
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
blumentopf like all your german landmates
the best thing you can do when you talk of
football is making senseless & quite ridiculous countings : we got those Euro cups,we got that number of 3rd places or 4th
places , bla bla bla ......
That's pretty pathetic & ridiculous.
England best team in the 30s :t's the 1st time I hear something like that, 'cos FOOTBALL HISTORY says that Italy was the strongest of the world
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
That's football history and not laughable
and quite odd nonsenses german style ......
For the 8th final vs. Australia, again I
have to call for football laws : if someone calls that one a dive he just doesn't know
anything of this sport, there was contact
between Grosso & O'Neill (though refs usually
don't concede penalty for that kind of
contact), and it was not a dive like french
Malouda in final who dived without being
touched .
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
So there's an enormous difference , if someone knows FOOTBALL LAWS . I agree it was not penalty, but it was not a dive : other teams & players dived on WC 2006,not the Italians if see true facts and fail from
talking of football by saying only ridiculous
& false clichès .
Not mentioning your odd, invented & funny personal dreamed football history .
Sorry, I won't waste my time anymore talking
of football with a german , from him only
lies and pathetic bs !
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
blumen keep on posting more by your own .
Trulyloyale 4 years ago

Trulyloyale 4 years ago
A no-existing penalty due to a dive from a german player , a robbed cup from germany.
Robbing: that's what germany is all about in world cup history !! 1990 final Brehme dived and they
robbed that cup with another one cheated penalty !
And what about 1954 shamefull final ?
The whole german team hospitalized for 3 months after
the final as they were dopped !!!
Germany was the better team only in robbing, that's
objectively the truth !
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
Ps And if someone answered opposing italian football
scandals, I'd say he's right for the scandals but we're talking of World Cup here, and that's another history .....
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
as you pointed out, 74, in the second half there was "objectively" a clear penalty for germany. so was in 1990 (i think it was a foul against augenthaler). so in both finals there was penalty. and ´54 people like Ferenc Puskás, who suffered his hole life from the final loss, brought up doping rumors. as you cant prove such things, and its highly doubtfull, you should not claim things like that, espiacially, if you are objectively, how you try to quote out so often.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
blumentopf I try to be ojectively , what about you ? In 1954 stolen cup by german team totally dopped in final ,there are plenty of witness statements & medical proofs
that the german players got hospitalized for 3 months in a private clinic ,the same team who's got heavily dopped. It was the same team who was hevily beaten by hungary on 1st
round match and the whole world knows since
ever that dopped germany robbed 1954 world cup, except the germans ......
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
I don't know what rumors about great outclass
Puskas you're talking about,'cos nobody ever
heard anything of your dreamed and
no-existing news. That time the only one dopped and cheating 1954 cup were only the germans, not mentioning the 3-3 tieing hungarian goal misteriously not validated.
As you can see, If you wanna talk of similar
things I can add even more TRUE FACTS and not
pathetic & ridiculous lies german style to
overrate your unskilled team.
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
1990 final was the ugliest & most boring ever
in WC history,I've rewatched that match 4/5
times and there was absolutely no fault ag.
augenthaler, it's another ridiculous & quite
childish lie . The only one time germany
entered the argentinian box office in that game was when Brehme dived on 2nd half to
get a laughable penalty to cheat for the 3rd
time World Cup for germany. That's the truth
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
The penalty in the second half for Germany does never justify this given penalty. Because without the first their wouldn't be the second penalty, the whole game would be another. Fact is Germany couldn't equalize, the German dived and only this brought them back into the game.
PrettyPiZZAface 3 years ago
and "all about in world cup history": they stood in the semifinal 10 times and won the european title 3 times, even though they could not enter each tournament. in my opinion germany is just highly underestimated. even a player like klose, who won the golden shoe in 2006 and the silver shoes in 2002, is not regnognized internationally as an european superstar. if he had played for brazil or if he had one of those gigantic advertisement-contracts that problably would be different.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
and one word for italy (even if it hurts me a little bit, cause my father is italian too): italy is known for playing defensive and often winning by one goal (like germany in the final 74). that does not make them bad. and dives and penaltys....just recall 2006 game versus the ukraine, and the semifinal versus germany. in the first they dived to the victory, in the second germany was not given a clear penalty, only a freekick.
blumentopf190380 4 years ago
blumentopf you showed not to know anything of
football and you posted nothing but childish
& quite odd lies and nonsenses. The only things you look to know are usual & ridiculous clichès : Italy is known for def
playing but some of most spectacular matches
in football history were played by Italy,
check & get informed and stick to your germany who is REALLY known more than Italy
for their def. playing .
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
In 2006 WC the 4th final vs ukraine was regular & there was no penalty in that match, semifinal vs germany I know that you
were got accustomed in diving to get a penalty in WC but objectively only the germans can see a penalty in that match,'cos
the whole world didn't see your imaginary match, you saw a different match from real one. True facts : that was another football lesson that Italy gave (as always) to so overrated & unskilled germany, a lesson of
tactics & tech specs.
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
If you wanna talk of playing attack, then I'll remind you prev friendly Ita-Ger on march 2006 : 4-1 and usal lesson of football.
Euro Cup objectively has not same importance
of World Cup, it's a tournament won even by
ridiculous teams like denmark & greece, so
germany can take & celebrate whatever little
euro cup they want, Italy does not care 'cos
we proved each time to be so superior to
wooden-leg germans !!
Trulyloyale 4 years ago
he dived.

germany was the better team in the final...müller was wrongfully recalled a goal in minute 59..this has cost him last year the alltimetopscorer title in worldcup.. he was 2 meters onside...in minute 89 of the game hölzenbein clearly was fouled in the penalty box and no call...there was more questionable decisions against the germans in this game.. wondering how many people here actuel ever have seen the whole match....not many i think

The truth is, everybody would love to have 1974 HOLLAND VS. 1982 BRAZIL. The most romatic teams of World Cup History never to win a world up!
SFFOOL76 4 years ago
To all our dutch friends:
1. The dutch penalty was outside of the penalty box. Can be seen on superslomo (half meter).
2. Müller scored a clear onside goal(at least 2meters) in the 2nd half when the ref called offside. A horrible decision.
3. Bohnhof was clearly fouled in the penalty box late in the game and should´ve been awearded with a penalty.
So 3 wrong decisions against Germany stand vs. 1 wrong decision against Holland.
Maggo309 4 years ago 3
hey gay ass lol the oenalty out of the box wat u talkin about? u dont need to be in the second box for a penalty lol u can be anywhere lol
imaguy910 4 years ago
One soft penalty cancelled out the other, the earlier Dutch penalty arose out of an equally dubious foul. Jack Taylor had a nightmare start to the game, but if anybody saw the whole game you would see that the Germans deserved to come out winners. Having said that there is no doubting that the Dutch played the most attractive football of the tournament.
Jeemag 4 years ago 2
Of course it was a dive . There was no contact made between the German player and any Dutch defender . Referee Taylor made an error which got the Germans back in the match . That Dutch side of 1974 were probably the best and most entertaining team of all-time , with the possible exception of Brazil in 1970 . And Johan Cruijff is the best European player ever , and probably in the top 3 players of all-time .
nickcat0 4 years ago

In WC finals history there are 3 penalties
