  • Why does a thumbs up help you out ???

  • @supermusclemaniac1 think about it dipshit

  • NOT ENOUGH MALK

  • Oh hey! Have you tried the Fat Blast Furnace (search on google)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my work buddy burned plenty of stubborn fat.

  • Made these last night. Great form of protein. Not very good tasting. Not horrible or inedible, just not very good. Then again, most good things are not good for me. FML.

  • I did the same thing with only 4 scoops of protein and in the oven for 10 min at 350

  • These things are amazing! I'm eating one now and it tastes like something I'd want to eat on a cheat day.

  • ohhh make sure its natural peanut butter. then put it on your insta-oatmeal -_-

  • I almost bought one all natural peanut butter but I was put off on how it looks because I'm not sure if was a false product not really meaning natural. I'm asking because I don't know. It looked very oily. When looking closely at the jar you could see oil above the peanut butter about a quarter inch thick is this normal? Any person's response well be appreciated.

  • @Thereisalwaysmore Yes, in natural ones, there should be oil above peanut butter. When you open the jar, open it carefully so you don't spill out the oil. Then take a knife and start mixing everything up until the oil and the peanut butter mix together. Could take a minute or two. By the way, you will find that it doesn't taste as good as non- natural peanut butter but you will get used to it so don't "throw" it right away!

  • @ShadowX114 thanks for the help. I'll try to stomach it next time lol. I heard almond butter is better in flavor, though i don't know personally.

  • is it hard or soft after 30 mins?

  • can i use my chocolate egg white protein powder instead of whey protein?

  • those bars look like turds

  • What is half a cup of milk? What is that in ml or oz?

  • @carruthersj lol thats my problem... i live in the uk and me dont mesure in cups haahah

  • @MrBenzenos Same here. Isn't a cup a unit of volume? And these guys are measuring solids using volume not weight. Anyway I found out...1 cup of oatmeal is 90 grams and 1 cup of milk is 118ml :)

  • @carruthersj lol thanks for that

  • I just ate one??!! haha..

  • granola bars taste much better

the question is do you lose the protein when you bake?

  • How long will these last in the fridge? And will they turn bad if I put one in a ziploc and take it to school for after I lift 8 hrs roughly

  • epic scooper

  • How much is scoop?! In grams

  • Why not just use proper measurement units instead of some arbitrary "scoops"? I have no idea how much whey you put in there.

  • Melk! Use Melk! It's the guy from Tosh, " My mom is dad."

  • been watching your other videos. good stuff. keep up the good work. im gonna try this one for sure

  • @ProteinHealth

it and was completely happy with the result.

  • Well done looks grate,, keep up the good work there easy and good source of protein,, least you know what's in them better then buying the real protein bars there full of sugar And crap, thanks for the idea shall be making my own soon

  • Where's the bacon? Where's the gravy?

  • Not baking it?

  • ...milk with artificial Bovine Hormone (Posilac) and antibiotics, is not good for yuor health .....

  • So...Ron Weasley retired from Harry Potter, started weight lifting and a cooking channel...

  • never assume that vanilla will be as good as chocolate! chocolate RULES

  • Please give the video a like if you don't mind! I can't tell you all how much I appreciate it.

  • @leanbodylifestyle please do tell me!!!

  • They look like you shit on a plate.

  • substitute for peanuts? im allergic to nuts >.<

  • @alex887799 Cheese works good

  • Why does it need to cool off...?? Does it have a self starting nuclear reaction or something??

  • @XRayCam cool off so it wont be mushy, i'm guessing? hah

  • @TBCKREW822 Yea, I was just joking around...there wasn't any heating done with this recipe. So I'm thinking what is really happening is that the ingredients actually get a chance to "soak" up the liquids and become more firm :-)

  • peenit? what's peenit?

  • @eatingperson If he's going to "pee-n-it" I don't want any ;-)

  • how many grams protein u get a day?

  • @ThePoeticbeer you need to provide your current body weight in order to get accurate protein intake calculated. Usually it's 120g-140g

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePoeticbeer if u train rly hard a maximum of 1,5g protein per 2lbs (per kg) of ur body weight a day, otherwhise u will damage ur kidney.

  • Hey i am just wondering if recipes like this that involve natural peanut butter, can it be replaced with natural almond butter?

  • Can I use soy protein powder?

  • @TookItToMyGrave yeah man doesnt really matter what kind of protein your using

  • malk? whats malk?

  • @cradleoffilth10 Malk is kind of like Vanella. Although I believe a Pig would be offended if we called it a Peg.

  • @cradleoffilth10 Malk

    /watch?v=ty62YzGryU4&ob=av3e

  • That's healthy & tasty both.Cool !!!!

  • @aeferch thank you that really helped alot!

  • how much is a cup of oatmeal an a half cup of milk (quantity) ? thank you :)

  • Where do you get that powder at????

  • @porkyboi15

You can get it at most local nutritional stores such as GNC (more expensive to buy) or buy directly from the optimumnutrition website. This brand is rated number 1 for being the best tasting protein powder, I am just wimpy and have to chug my shakes down because I hate the taste. Hope this recipe masks some of the powders taste! Hope this helped.

  • just made these and they didnt solidify into bars

  • thnx for the tip

  • the peanut butter i use is all natural, but it isnt as runny as that and doesnt really mix well, especially when i add it to oatmeal (porridge where im from!) can anyone recommend anything? or anyone from britain know a brand that mixes well? thanks

  • @soldierside365 mirowave the peanut butter for a couple of seconds to melt it

  • @soldierside365 just add a little bit of water in your jar of peanut butter and mix, works for me

  • @soldierside365

Have you tried microwaving or melting it before adding?

  • @aeferch

what ive done instead of adding it in after i make the oatmeal/porridge, i put it in before, and every 20-30 seconds or so i stop, stir, and continue. it works, i still get some chunks of peanut butter, but i love it so i dont care lol

  • @leanbodylifestyle

I just made em with some musashi high protein powder. Tastes amazing but it came out reaaaally sticky and a bit too sloppy. I cant make bars out of it so I just got some delicious protein goo haha. What do you think I should adjust to make it better.

  • @Jacumbrella Maybe you should use less milk or a bit more protein powder and more oats, so you should be able to make bars out of it. If they're still too sticky, you could roll 'em around in flax. Tastes great as well ;)

  • @Jacumbrella try using cream instead of milk and add it slowly until it reaches a better consistency

  • how long can you keep them before they go bad ?

  • @ziggyclaeys depends.

I freeze mine. If you keep them actually frozen they will last for months.

Some people just put them in the fridge. In which case they will last as long as the milk in them is dated to.

  • @ziggyclaeys If you freeze it, a few hours. Same like you freeze liquid milk alone, and let it melt and go bad.

  • Skim Malk...lol

  • omg i just made chocolate this shit is so DAMN GOOD!!!!

  • whats the song at the beginning called?

  • They taste really good :)

  • No cooking? You'll probably get a mudd butt for eating the bars efter several days, because they will be full of bacteria :/

  • @1stSRB

...do you not own a refrigerator?

  • add a couple of raisins and chrushed almonds and it is heaven

  • did I miss something..what happens within the 25 minutes..do you put it in the oven?

  • @rhdtv2002 no putting it in the fridge helps it become a solid bar. then take it out and leave it at room temp.

  • Would 'Old Fashioned Quaker Oats' produce the same taste?

  • what's the nutritional content

  • Discount in iherb.com 5. usd

    HOV697 :)

  • ever notice protiein powder is fucking espensive ? lol

  • @sarahscreamm Na man, i got 5lbs of EAS's 100% whey protein for 32$, not bad at all

  • Except it isn't. 30-40 bucks for 5 pounds of whey is way better than the amount of money you'd spend buying protein bars or premade shakes every day.

  • @MercuryClock People still buying small tubs these days , damn , i buy 5kg bags for the same price, they should really shop around. :)

  • @sarahscreamm Depends where your from, the us and the uk have very cheap prices, but places like australia and other parts of Europe are ridiculously priced, not sure about canada, may be different out there

  • If you're looking for a chocolate peanut butter protein bar for bodybuilding, come to my channel to watch how i make my homeade ones. 300 calories, 30 grams of protein

  • Do Not Bake These ...LOL

  • peenits

  • @branman57 lmao

  • This is too easy man, even I see myself making this. I've always had a love for sweets since a kid, this helps a lot with the cravings for snickers bars ^_^

  • Just whipped up a batch of these! They're so good!!! And also much more cheaper than buying them.

  • Hey, I wrote a hub on hubpages about this recipe. I linked your video in it and everything, just thought I would let you know :D. I can take it off if you really don't want it on there.

  • WOW awesome vid, i cant wait to make some now... I have all the same ingredients already... its on

  • I made these with almond milk yesterday and had them in my bag all night and all day today and they are still fresh and taste great.

  • Would almond milk be good instead of skim?

  • I like the video. Please change the stupid music!

  • Curious...has anyone tested how long these stay good for? Since there's milk in them I'm a little worried that they will spoil if left in a pack too long.

  • There! Just finished making them, so im now waiting for them to be cooled in my fridge!

(Couldnt resist eating some of the dough.. It tastes awesome!Oo)

  • where do you buy the peanut butter?

  • how many grammars on protein approximately each bar has?

  • @gmaloukos i checked and i saw that at least for the powder i'm using, 46 grams if you're cutting this into 5 pieces! my powder is called body fortress super advanced whey protein powder

  • I think they should be baked... I have seen some people do that but never tried making anything in my kitchen that needs an oven :)

  • awesome i haven't been around in a wile but i see you made your own bars they look good

  • Wait a minute! Did I miss something?

Did you bake these for 25 minutes?

  • @karenbcz22 No put them in the fridge for 25-30min :)

  • Hi hi! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate lost tons of weight with it.

  • Would these replace a meal too or no?

  • @afshiro8 I mean breakfast

  • @afshiro8 i wouldn't say so, but these make awesome snacks if you're a student or working take these and have them for a snack

  • Just made these and they're great. My favorite part was licking the bowl! haha.

  • you use quick oats?

How about if i use slow cooking oats?

  • do you know how many calories are in each bar?

  • Isn´t it a bad idea to mix up so many fats with carbohydrates?

  • @PlayaAlbi Why would it be bad? carbohydrates are what enables the protein to work

  • @xllClouDllx Yea I know dat :), but I thought that carbohydrates encourage fat storage, especially when eating Fat + Carbohydrates,

  • @PlayaAlbi oh im not to sure :)

  • @PlayaAlbi Yeah, a lot of people would have you believe that. But this only true if you're consistently overeating.

  • I hope they taste better when they are cold..... Right now the protien powder tastes through to much... :\ But its not horrible, good i guess if you need protien like I do.. for vegetarians...

  • @leanbodylifestyle that person was not talking about your video......................reread it again please.

  • I'm sure you could also put Dark Chocolate chips in it, and her is a sugjestion, maybe lay down some flour, and roll the bar dough, then put it in a pan to get more bars out of the mix

  • How long do they last ?

  • Don´t use strawberry protein powder for these!!

  • They look great, I just got some skim milk and natural peanut butter, and I think I'm going to make these tomorrow...

  • just made them and put them into the refrigiator. the dough taste incredible, but its very very sticky when warm. cant wait to try them cold!!

  • just tried them best tasting protein bar ever. better for u than store botton bars . only problem is the amount of calaries

  • hey what's the calories and protein in each bar?

  • i tried this with choc flavor whey , everything's fine but its color does looks like "something" in the toilet

  • looks awesome im gonna have to try that!

  • If you don´t have all these ingrediens, is there protein bars you can buy in the store, that is almost the same as the one you made? If so: could you recommend some?

  • Im confused does this need to be kept refrigerated ?

  • thank you so much, i made this protein bars and is helping me a lot on my diet nutrition...:)thanks mate!!!

  • i will make it ..

  • Comment removed

  • how do they taste

  • godam 8 scoops how much protein is in one bar?how many should i eat at a time? i have all ur ingredients gonna try this soon. what about putting it in the over does it change anything like make it brown crispy?

  • PLEASE MAKE A COMMENTARY!

  • @leanbodylifestyle think he meant the people who say stupid stuff like " thumbs up if you think this guy is ripped " or stupid thumbs up comments like that to get there comment thumbs uped not about thumbs up for your video

  • WHEN should i eat this? after or before training?

  • hahahaha, that was so funny how you sped up the video and you were counting fast, i kept replaying that, how'd you speed it up?

  • This taste great only problem is you have to eat it with a spoon it doesnt stay together even once cooled

  • I tried this today but I substituted some stuff. I used water instead of milk and instead of peanut butter, I crushed some almonds. It was YUMMY!!!!! Thank you so much for the ideas! Starting Monday, 100% of my breakfasts and snacks are from your recipes until I reach my goal. THANKS AGAIN!! :o)

  • awesome, but unfortunally it takes too long to prepare them :(

  • What would regular peanut butter do to this?

All I have is a low sugar peanut butter, i think it has around 3 grams of sugar

  • this isnt really a complaint, but it would be nice if you had the nutritional facts for all these meals, but i guess all of us just need to do it our selves and quit being lazy hahaha

    -Thanks

  • I have some of these chilling in the fridge right now, the batter tasted great but I think this video could double as a recipe for home-made glue, the batter for this stuff is super sticky.

  • Can you use almond milk instead of skim milk? thanks in advance..

  • I tried these just now and I wasnt super impressed. better than what I had before which was nothing though. Im gonna play around with this idea though......better than crappy preservative full protein bars

  • The only problem with this is you don't know how many cal's or protein you're getting with each serving. Nice vid though.

  • @haitian1989

To figure that out I'm afraid you would have to resort to using...MATH!!! lol. 8 scoops of whey is around 200 grams of protein I think, take into account the peanut butter and milk then divide the number of bars into the grams of protein and calories then you could get an rough estimate.

  • @leanbodylifestyle

noo i was talking about the thumbs up in the comments bar :) i already thumbbed up ur video.

  • @daydayANDcraig don't you feel stupid now. haha.

  • @karasvadim

no thats the point.. no one was supposed to thumbs up, now dont you feel stupid. haha.

  • @daydayANDcraig

    yeah you prick

  • @KhaozBeats First of all, kill yourself, and everyone who thumbs downed me. 2nd, I wasn't talking about leanbodylifestyle I was talking about the assholes who be in the comment section asking for thumbs, even though I asked for a thumbs it was supposed to an intentional fail. So, next time to you want to comment on 1 month old comment, think about what I was talking about and you use your brain that your father probably fucked once you were little. Knowing morons like you he probably did. Later.

  • @daydayANDcraig ur mom goes to college

  • @daydayANDcraig

    nice essay

    your still a prick haha

  • @daydayANDcraig dude wouldnt you be embarrassed if your friends or family saw you making comments like this on youtube? you may wanna sound hard and tough, but to me it just comes out as primitive and dumb
